Would of preferred a shower to a bath but it certainly shouldn't put anyone off if they're thinking of staying here.

Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great views. Fabulous sleep in the most comfortable bed. The breakfast was incredible! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host Mike was friendly and professional.

The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The view of Torbay was stunning especially from the balcony in the daytime but also after nightfall. Clearly, a lot of thought had gone into the refurbishment of the property. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order by Mike and came with home made sourdough and proper coffee.

The fact the bathroom was a separate room so we had to walk outside our room onto the landing to go in and out of the bathroom. I didnt realise private bathroom meant separate lol but for the price I'm not complaining it was still lovely. Just to mention, that's only 1 room that has this. The others are en suite but I wouldn't let it put anyone off

Yew Tree House offered the perfect getaway for us as a couple. Lovely room with good facilities and a sea view. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order, with lots of options. Thanks for the personal touches that made our stay unique. We were in a great spot to travel around Devon and visited Dawlish, Brixham, Paington and Bee Sands over our 3 night stay.

The couple who own and run this lovely hotel were really friendly and helpful (he is also a great cook; it was a very tasty breakfast). We arrived later than expected but felt welcomed. There was a whirlpool bath which was wonderful after our tiring journey. All in all, we loved it here and hope to return again x

Beautiful room, cosy and spacious. The service was great - clear self check in instructions and lovely little welcome sign on arrival with treats for the baby and dog - great personal touches. Location was fantastic and perfect onsite secure parking.

Property was clean, warm, comfortable bed and very welcoming. Room was beyond our expectations and stunning. Balcony overlooked the sea with excellent views and was an added luxury. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Fabulous Place!!!

The door bell ringing everyone it sensed motion, found this a little intrusive and unnecessary as the alert could have been heard just on the phone.

The ease of check and the thoughtful touches. I won’t say what they were as don’t want to spoil it for other visits just know that these hosts have little touches that make you feel valued. They also respect privacy which was really appreciated.

Breakfast - exceptional menu. Room - very clean, plenty of choice on beverages, mini fridge, decorated beautifully. Private Bathroom - Amazing shower and jacuzzi bath. Warm welcome by the owner, the whole property decorated so well with so much attention to detail.

Have stayed at Yew Tree House a number of times but before yesterday, not since 2020. Stay was as great as I'd expect from experience, Mike and his family are great hosts who really care about making sure your stay is comfortable and that you feel welcomed. Breakfast is top class, private bathroom for room 2 is excellent, and room is cozy and more than comfortable enough. Will happily return every time I stay in the area!

No shower to rinse off. Noise from upper floor easily heard.

Television that didn't have 'catch-up' apps such as iPlayer etc, also it would not read movie files from an USB stick. Bathroom was a littel dark and no light or shaver points near the sink. Noisy mini fridge.

Excellent breakfast, terrific chocolate cake on arrival. Great effort on detail , room fititngs, breakfast settings etc. Well informed 'handbook' in the room. Good selection of refeshments in the room including fresh milk. Very hospitable hosts. Fantastic views across the bay.
