Both lodges that my family stayed in didn’t have any Oven Gloves which is essentiall when you cook Also the park was very dark the lighting wasny enough especially for the dog walkers

Bed wasn’t the comfiest so didn’t have the best nights sleep

When in hot tub the cover blocked the views so had to move it. Shame the decking area wasn’t bigger. No matching glasses. No soft lighting in lounge- perhaps a lamp?

The restaurant on site was full on our second night so they wasn’t doing take out which meant we had no tea and couldn’t go sainsburys as we had all had a drink. It should be advertised that if the restaurant is full they don’t do take out.

The lodge was absolutely amazing!!! Fab location, very modern, really clean and spacious. Hot tub was perfect and enough room for all 5 of us! Check in was really easy and quick. Shops only 7 minute drive away. Would definitely come again!!

Only downside was the TV we contacted reception and maintenance was with us within the hour but we were still unable to watch ITV not major but would have liked to watch TV at night whilst relaxing

The lodge was clean on arrival, spacious and comfortable. This was our second holiday here with in 6months perfect location for getting to York, Scarborough flamingoland. We had a hottub too which was also very clean. The bar/restaurant on site serves lovely food and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The only issue was the poor tv reception when we wanted to chill out and watch a little bit of tv at the end of the day, plus, the tv remote seems faulty in this lodge as you had to press on the back whilst using your other hands to change the channel. For the price being paid these things shouldn’t be happening.

Excellent lodge and well presented. Great lodge and hot tub though.

Everything was so clean. The rooms were an amazing size and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great size too and very nice. It had a lot of space more than expected. Great place to have a lovely weekend away.

The restaurant prices seemed quite high for a family of four. We were able to find better value elsewhere in York.

The property was in a great location, was spacious, modern, had every home comfort and was spotlessly clean. The hot tub was a wonderful addition. The staff that greeted us seemed pleased to see us and greeted us with a friendly smile. The park was neatly laid out and well maintained.

It needs a bigger TV, theres no lamps or low lighting in the bedrooms or living room which would have been nice for the evening, it was either have all the lights off or have the very bright lights on. Also although i was told before our stay there was an iron, there wasnt!! There was an ironing board but no iron, luckily reception loaned us one, but it needs one. The hot tub must have had a filter or jet thing fixed at some point, as the quick bodge (it seems) made to fix it meant there were 2 very sharpe screws sticking out right where you put your feet, i cut both heels on these screws, which meant I couldnt put any shoes on the following day so I couldnt go anywhere which ruined a day of our 3 day break, reception was informed just hope it was addressed before the next guests. Only other thing was we paid the extra £26 for the Valentines Romantic package treats, it said rose petals scattered on the bed, prosecco and a cake, it was artificial rose petals which were a tad disappointing and a small box of chocolates not the cake as pictured or booked with our bottle of prosecco. Replys to Messages to booking.com and allerthorpe park are a little slow and JJs restaurant never responded to my messages to book a table prior to our stay. All things that just could have made our stay absolutely perfect

TV could be bigger for the size of the lodge. Any bad weather signal for TV Goes off.

The jj restaurant was a real let down food cold and not cooked properly staff rude and not helpful at all

Apart from golf there wasn't anything else on the site, that was fine for us as we wanted a weekend to relax, ate in the restaurant and drove to York for a few hours.

Beautiful inside, everything you needed. Hot tub was great 👍 great location for york. The restaurant was lovely, food was amazing, polite staff.
