Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI requested an upgrade when the hotel contacted me and asked- I said yes and was willing to pay but got there and was told it wasn’t available- guy on reception looked like he couldn’t care anyway- still not sure if they took the money! Travellers should be aware that if you’re on the road side of the property that’s it’s a dual carriageway and the noise in really loud- you can’t have your window open for air at all and I had to go and buy earplugs!

United KingdomThe actual room was disappointing being quite small and dated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good but overall the room was below par and not what i expected from the brand or for the price of £150 for a one night stay. Putting aside the nice public areas I feel that other more budget hotels in the area would offer at least a similar room for less.
The hotel is in a great location for all the amenities of the town and the mainline train station. The hotel has a car park, but it is also located adjacent to the Victoria Way multi-storey car park so parking is no issue at any time. The public areas of the hotel are very nice with a large reception area, nice bar and restaraunt area. The check in service was very good, thanks Martin (I think).

United StatesBeds were small, the elevators were tricky to use (you’d have to use your room key but then the button wouldn’t call for the elevator if you didn’t press and hold), the thermostat was confusing and old fashioned, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it would get extremely humid after a shower, no mini fridge, the carpets looked dingy, the closets were narrow, and lighting left a lot to be desired.

The uniforms for the staff in restaurant needs to be a bit more smart like for a restaurant environment not a care home.
