Location was excellent and parking for motorcycles

As the person in charge of the property and I discussed, parking was very limited. I understand now there's not a great option on booking to really get this point across as I've stayed at other properties who have also indicated limited parking that wasn't quite as limited as this property. I do understand and in the long run everything else made up for this. Parking for 24 hours was a 15 minute walk and only cost five pounds, so not too shabby.

I really loved the room and that it had a fridge. Everything was very clean and well thought out. Excellent communication as well. The shower was very nice with good pressure and hot water. I also appreciated the key codes instead of physical keys. The location is great.

The noise of the fridge in the adjacent room I had switched mine off but it felt like it was buzzing in my ear. I had forgotten to bring my ear plugs .

It was easy to get to by car and managed to park my car in the car park. It was clean and relatively comfortable. The shower was lovely and warm. Wifi was good .

The key code was not sent before hand and it cost me a lot of money in overseas NZ phone charges to obtain it. The key code could have been closer to the front door.

Nothing it was all fine.

It was self catering. The instructions were very easy and clear to follow. Lots of extras, like washer and dryer. Fully equipped kitchen. Handy to the town. It was better than expected. WiFi was great. Had no problems at all. Very handy to town and rail.

Only one armchair and no table in the bedroom.

Clean & comfortable. Lovely shower. We liked having a fridge available in the room, and the shared kitchen facilities & lounge are very nice.

Everything worked so we were quite happy with the set-up. I don't know what would have happened if there had been a problem as I don't think the owner(s) were on site.

The property was convienent for the city centre & train station. It was clean & quiet, with a good size bathroom & hot shower. We didn't use the kitchen, which appeared well equiped, as there was a kettle, mugs, fridge and supply of tea & coffee in the room. The owner was very helpful. Directions given clear. We found the key pad on both front and bedroom doors easy to use with the instructions we had been emailed.

It would be nice if it was possible to open the window

Very convenient also because late night arrival is no issue and you can check yourself in and out. Tea and a fridge were also available in the room which was very comfortable. I only walked about 10 minutes from the bus stop which was very nice and you are very close by the river.

The road is quite busy but you can shut the windows but I didn't mind the noise. So maybe ask for a room at the back apart from that it was a pleasant stay

It was clean and staff where very nice. Easy to contact by phone. I did not really look at the facility's. I am aware there was a kitchen but I did not use it as we were only there for one night. It is self catering. I'm assuming everything you would need is there

Mirror in bathroom was too high on the wall. I am 155cm and I couldn't even see the top of my head

I had a single room which had all the facilities I needed. Great block out blind. Had full kitchen and laundry facilities for the use of guests Great location easy walking (no need to use your car) around the Ness River as well as the city centre. There is a small car park behind the building, enough for about four cars

Overall a really lovely stay - only minor gripes are maybe a heads up about provided toiletries (i.e. shower gel provided but no shampoo/conditioner). Car park was also a wee bit small and tricky to manoeuvre when full. Very minor complaints - stay was thoroughly enjoyable and would come back again!

Venue surpassed our expectations. Very clean and tidy - TV and fridge in the room were added bonuses that we did not expect! Would happily stay at Winmar again in the future and would recommend to friends.

The parking area could use some line marking. Other guests parked terribly meaning 2 cars took up the space that could've fit 4 or 5 vehicles

Clean and centrally located. Staff (Nigel) was very helpful when there had been a slight mix-up with room allocation with a French tourist. Issue was resolved very quickly.
