There was nothing that any of our group didn't like! My only observation would be that a larger BBQ would be useful.

Everything! The space was perfect for our family group, and the children loved the freedom of the open spaces. The rooms were beautifully furnished, but also really homely and comfortable. All appliances etc. were in working order, and the Aga came in useful for some family meals around the huge dining table. The outside covered seating area was a fabulous space to sit in during the evenings, and the warm throws and comfy cushions were a lovely touch.

Wow, what an incredible experience! Our stay at the beautiful lodge was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The lodge itself was stunning, with breathtaking views and cosy, stylish interiors. The amenities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We felt like royalty throughout our stay. The location was also ideal, surrounded by nature and tranquillity. It was the perfect getaway to relax and recharge. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday retreat. We're already planning our next visit! 10/10, hands down!

The breakfast was superb , the choice was excellent,superbly cooked and presented. The room was beautifully decorated with a superb bathroom and the garden surroundings was exceptional, it was indeed so peaceful and quiet that we did not leave any morning until well past midday. The setting, room, whole place was beautifully presented. A quiet and rural setting. The room was tasteful and homely with small fridge containing goodies for purchase which was a bonus. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff all friendly and chatty. Would 100% recommend.

The grounds are idyllic, the rooms are all cozy and have everything you need. Nice spacious bathroom in the gardener room. Lovely views of the gardens and surrounding fields. The staff are really nice and friendly. Really nice place to stay.

The room (gamekeeper’s room) was quite small and felt very dark, the two small windows at floor level were blocked by two unnecessary chairs (room was too small for the chairs) the other window and the door both had frosted glass which didn’t let in much light. I realise this was probably why the lovely host had all the lights on in the room when we were first shown it. Felt just a little bit claustrophobic The decor was lovely but a wee bit too busy for a small room. We had two friends staying in the Butler’s room which was more spacious light and airy with access to a beautiful private sitting area in a walled garden. When checking booking later we realised the prices were the same so we would absolutely Return to Willington Lodge but not to our room. We had no internet connection. Each time we tried to connect it said move closer to the source I.e Willington lodge kitchen or courtyard. Which we couldn’t do This was disappointing as my husband needed the internet when we were staying. He had to sit by the open door to get a connection. Also our 4/5 G didn’t work in the room either.

Wow where do I start! We had the most wonderful time staying at Willington lodge. The moment we arrived we were greeted by the loveliest of host’s and made to feel very welcome. The host’s were more than accommodating and nothing was ever too much. During our stay we made the most of enjoying the beautiful grounds and relaxed in the walled garden. Our room was beautiful and as for the bed. The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Everything about the room was perfect. Looking forward to our next stay and the most tasty breakfast by far! I can’t sing this places praises enough! Thank you so much for making our stay a special one.

We loved every detail of this amazing property. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Absolutely gorgeous building and grounds. Tastefully renovated, with attention to detail. Exceptionally clean. Amazing hosts who were very kind, thoughtful and helpful. Amazing time spent in the sun soaked garden. The children loved the pets walking around too. Everything ran very smoothly from start to finish. The perfect little get away. Breakfast in the courtyard was delicious, and an experience to remember. We all loved our stay and enjoyed it so much. Peaceful and quiet too.

If you are scared of spiders you might struggle as with all older buildings, this had a few hanging around, but they were the spindly variety, not very mobile and didn’t bother us.

Lovely property, very pretty, nice back garden with plenty of places to sit, in addition to outside sitting area for each room and an inner courtyard. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They moved our breakfast without fuss when we couldn’t decide whether to breakfast outside when rain was threatening. The room had all we needed for refreshments (various free teas, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits, plus additional drinks and snacks available from the mini bar if desired). The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast. No other meals available but we got a takeaway delivered to our outside patio easily enough. A few resident animals, I came across a laid back dog, 2 cats, a couple of horses and a few chickens, but none of them were invasive if you don’t want to be close to them.

The most beautiful venue and surroundings! Unfortunately I didn’t make the most of my stay as I was at a wedding elsewhere so was only at the venue a short period of time, but the staff were so attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family!
