3 things: Stairs :( Although it's only a couple of flights of stairs, we had big suitcases and it was a bit difficult. Also, the beige carpeting in the hallway was already discolored making it look dirty. Lastly, that wooden plank that covered the radiator in our room was not well fastened and fell and scratched my leg. Luckily, it didn't cause any scrapes or gashes but it did cause slight irritation and redness.

Great and friendly staff. Breakfast was superb as well.

Delicious made to order breakfast included in the rate. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty, too. Restaurant vibe was great. Staff were always pleasant and accommodating. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Ear plugs recommended if you’re a light sleeper.

the only little weakness for us was that we were located in a room above the main road , so it was a bit noisy, but not to the point to spoil our night. It is a bit far from the centre but very well connected (bus, tube)

Charming place, especially the pub. Our room was cosy and neat. Staff is absolutely adorable. The Chef cooked us fantastic breakfasts and meals (they were as good as they look on their insta), yummy!

Soundproofing in the room was not very good. However, the pub downstairs was closed already at 23 and the street beside wasn't so busy, so it wasn't so disturbing anyway. The carpet in the room wasn't very clean and the ventilation in the room was quite poor.

The guesthouse was small and comfortable. Especially the interior in the pub/restaurant was beautiful. We didn't get the room (king) we had booked, which was of course a disappointment, but the staff compensated it well. The room (queen) we got was also nice. Staff at the guesthouse was always friendly. They often kindly asked how the guests were feeling and what were the plans for the day. Breakfast was great! It was ordered from the variety of their breakfast menu. Even if the way to the city was a bit longer, the guesthouse is located just a walking distance from Portobello Road and Notting Hill. Also the tube-station and bus stops are near. I warmly recommend this place!

I mentioned this as we left, the breakfast fruit platter was rather short on variety - some berries could have been included - but the Greek yoghurt was lovely. Food in the restaurant is a bit expensive, but it is of good quality and freshly prepared. Just be aware that there’s a number of stairs, and if you’re in a hurry to get away the breakfasts are prepared to order, so it’s a leisurely breakfast experience, not fast food (not a criticism, we were very happy with this, it’s just for info).

Very friendly staff, chef was very helpful in adapting a meal to make it gluten free for me. We were surprised how large the room was. Great location, just a few minutes walk from Kensal Green station. Bus stop just outside the property, very handy if travelling by public transport. Breakfasts are high quality, freshly prepared and included in the B&B rate. Would happily return here when visiting London again.

Shower was too hot, which is an odd complaint but no way to turn it down! Room got very hot even in April so it would be a nightmare in the summer. Outside can be noisy but this didn't carry on late.

Nice staff, easy check-in, great breakfast included, clean, comfortable bed, handy location for London (bus stops outside and tube station 5 minute walk). Good restaurant options in Kensal Green, but a lovely quiet residential area.

Cream carpets in rooms should be clean more often. A small fridge would be a great bonus.

The mattress in the room could have been a little better, was a bit thin and soft for our liking but it wasn't too bad. There also seemed to be a problem with the motion sensor light in the hallway which kept flashing on and off during the night which you could see under the door. Luckily we could ignore it easily enough.

The food was great! Breakfast every morning exceeded expectations - lots of options! We also had dinner one night in the pub which was equally tasty and super convenient for us. It was a good location, while a little further out from the city centre it meant that it was nice and quiet at night.

We stayed in the attic in a family room. The size was perfect. The room needed a full refurbishment, I believe the lower floors had been. However I was cold in the night and there was no additional bedding.

Not your fault! - but parking is difficult and it would be great to have some permits for hotel guests.
