A few electrical issues - towel rail function wouldn't stay on consistently and a fuse tripped whilst I was fixing breakfast; staff sorted the latter fairly quickly.

3rd time staying here and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Edinburgh, staff are always friendly and super helpful, rooms are spacious clean and have everything you need, lovely bed and shower. Great location short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Grassmarket

The manager showed us how to control the air con heating and we followed the instructions but found it would be warm then cold again later. Being of a smaller build in stature, the beds were a little high to get on for us.

If I'm being honest the price, really expensive for something that felt no different than a premier inn, bit more up market. Maybe everything in Grassmarket is overpriced but all in all we enjoyed to overall experience

The apartment was excellent really clean and tidy, really handy to have a kitchenette in the room, didn't really need it but the fridge came in handy for drinks, the staff where really friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was modern and clean with lots of space in the room and in the lounge to relax. The room had more space than any place we stayed in the UK. The staff were fantastic and so kind and helpful.

Everything was perfect during our one week stay! Good location just few minutes from the center of old town. Nice rooms with all the necessary for a comfortable stay, comfortable mattress and pillows. Very clean. Many thanks to all the staff, they was very helpful and always with a big smile.

The location is ideal at the bottom of Grassmarket & right by the castle. This did mean there was a little noise at times but it wasn’t awful. All the staff were very friendly & helpful & the studio was well equipped.

I upgraded to a castle view room, you could only see the castle from a velux window in the roof if you were standing in the middle of the room. I don't think this room should be classed as a castle view, if I had known the velux was the only window in the room I wouldn't have bothered upgrading as the courtyard view with a bigger window looked nicer and would let in more light

Our whole experience here was exceptional, from the staff to the room to the castle view, i couldn't recommend this place more. the staff were friendly and very helpful, the food was gorgeous and our room was fantastic! lovely and clean, spacious, and we weren't disturbed by other guests at all! the location is perfect, about a 5-10 minute walk from the new town and a lot less for the old town

Rooms are not automatically cleaned or replenished unless requested. Not a particular problem as you are given a contract number on arrival and can use the text service 24/7.

Great location, well contained room with very comfortable beds. Our room had a castle view and all modern amenities expected of a studio apartment. We celebrated a birthday and the hotel had left complementary Prosecco, cakes and a card which was a lovely gesture.

Loved the location.. easy reach of the old town and the new. Appliances in the apartment were all high quality smeg, including the dishwasher. You could request a refresh of any supplied item at reception or via WhatsApp..

I loved it!

We had the castle view apartment. We loved it! I had a bench nook to read and admire the Edinburgh castle. The location was awesome! I will be staying here when I return.
