Cleanliness could have been better. Toilet lid was dirty, rug was not cleaned. Need one or two more pans and a frying pan in the room. Water went cold during shower, upon investigation realised the boiler/tank had been turned off. Our room was an upgrade so maybe staff forgot to turn on or check for cleanliness before.

Access to town centre, parking, facilities, friendly staff. Spacious room. Quiet. Wide variety of goods to purchase on site. All day breakfast available. From Croydon originally so very surprised to find such lovely accommodation in that area. No-hassle check in and check out system. Will definitely visit again!

Our room (3) was way too hot. We complained about this and they told us it was the heating that was on but that still didn’t fix the issue. We had to sleep with the fan on the whole night. The walls are not sound proof therefore, we kept getting disturbed by loud guests and children during the whole stay. Lastly, bathroom sink was too small and not easy to use due to shelf right above it.

Well decorate and provided self service breakfast.

There was a little leak in the shower but the water pressure was still decent - also on arrival the window was wide open in my room which meant it took an hour to warm up as it’s the middle of winter

Room was fantastic! Clean, spacious, modern. The facilities were fantastic. The staff are very friendly. There’s a shop and lounge space. Couldn’t ask for more from the flat.

The room could have been cleaner, especially the shower. As you can read other comments, the rooms are not well soundproofed, you can hear other guests a lot. But overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Check-in was clear, the stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, I like that you can come into the kitchen any time. Room facility was great.

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the adjoining rooms and above all when anybody walks in the room above.

There was not too much noise. I have already stayed in this hotel and not been able to sleep due to a party going in in the room next door so I was pleased there was no party this time.

The rooms are not sound proof and you could hear noise from other rooms. My room has a funny smell like the tubes of the toilet which was bad. Check and fix it. Breakfast was not to my satisfaction. I thought English breakfast would be prepared and guests serves themselves. I was disappointed 😞

The bed is very soft, the room not been cleaned properly in a long time (pieces of broken glass in corners) and no electric kettle despite tea, sugar, milk being made available. Paper thin walls means the place is very noisy but luckily the guests know this and were very quiet. The room doors do not lock properly either.

Only thing which was a slight factor for my guest was sound carrying through the building. He would prefer a hotel. For myself, this was more than suitable for an overnight stay.

The property offers free onsite parking. The rooms are a decent size & comfortable. Noise from surrounding rooms / hallways can carry through the building. This was not an issue for myself but was for the person I was staying with. The breakfast is basic & is in an open plan kitchen / dining area. I used this area to work from after my 11am checkout which was a bonus. The property had decent wifi throughout. Good value for money.

Occasional noise from room upstairs and corridor as rooms weren’t sound proof but it really did not bother us at all.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent all day complimentary breakfast, plenty car parking space, basic gym on site, free full laundry self-service. Staff have always been extremely helpful and ready to help, only 15 minutes walk to East Croydon train station. I will definitely rebook again.
