Great space for a large family. 3 of us on one side of the property and 5 on the other. A bathroom on each side.Living area is a nice size. Plenty of board games. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, beds were made and looked pretty with cushions and flowers. We didn't stay long enough to appreciate the garden but it was a lovely size and we had a garden view from the bedroom. Location, easy to get to the shops. Quiet estate, driveway enough for 3 cars.

Mattresses were a bit tired. Most of us found the couches low to get in and out of and maybe a couple of firmer, higher chairs would enhance the lounge.

The property was as described, we could access with a wheelchair user, although a wider area just in front of the door would be useful to get up the small step. Spacious rooms and well appointed. Quiet residential area. The host did not mind us re-arranging a few things to make moving about the house easier. We were able to have family visit and plenty of couches, enjoyed having Netflix. Heating could be set for our comfort. Hosts were helpful and considerate after a problem on our arrival day. Shops nearby and train station, near to Rochford centre and not far from Southend.

The host was lovely and friendly and also accomdating. The host pointed out health and safety issues which was important as we had four children under 10yrs and also brought a padlock for the back gate. She guided us on where to travel in the area. The home was clean and had a luxury feel about it the decor and facilities were very good. There was good kitchen equip and the welcome bottle of milk and other items were useful too! We loved the warmth and cleanliness inside the home. It was spacious and comfortable. The garden was large and places to.sit too!

The only issue I can think that we had was that the shower screen over the bath was a little leaky so the floor got a little wet, so hardly anything serious! It certainly didn't impact our stay too much. Perhaps some extra spare towels in future might have been handy in case people need to mop up, but thankfully we stayed when it was very hot so it wasn't really a problem for us.

The property was really clean and comfortable. It was handy for us that there were two bathrooms as we were staying with family (two couples and one child). We mainly used it as a base to go out elsewhere, we had a family wedding at Apton Hall and it was the perfect location as it was a 5 minute drive. We comfortably fit two family cars on the driveway. The host met us and brought milk which was very thoughtful.

3' wide single beds would have been a bit better than 2'6", but this is just a very minor observation.

The accommodation and it's configuration was perfect for our sleeping arrangement needs and there were 2 bathrooms which was a huge bonus, especially as one of them had a walk-in shower - perfect for my elderly mother. The conservatory overlooking the garden was lovely and nicely private; it provided a really pleasant room in which to sit and eat, or just to relax with a book. To have off-road parking was a bonus and gave peace of mind. The kitchen was superbly equipped and the whole property was modern and minimalistic, and yet homely and comfortable. The hosts were superb and when a problem occurred with one of the showers, they went in the same day to replace it - excellent service. Highly recommended.

The single beds in my room were not very sturdy so the mattresses moved throughout the night while I slept and were not as firm as I would have liked.

Everything else was absolutely brilliant! The property is stunning and was decorated to a high standard and there are lots of facilities at your disposal. Host was very helpful. My family had a wonderful time and my husband and I definitely plan on returning with a group in the future.

Some of the glasses and crockery had to be washed before we could use them and the serving utensils were rather flimsy. Also a decent set of sharp knives would be good.

Plenty of space and 2 bathrooms a plus. Well provided with basic cleaning products, toilet rolls, etc . Lots of hot water and kitchen well equipped. The owner was really helpful with local knowledge.
