Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomNo wine glasses. Limited amount of cooking items,. saucepans in particular. Obviously some items had been broken and not replaced. Only 3 side plates. Small tumblers etc and there were 4 of us. Didn't spoil our stay, but would be good if replaced for future guests.
Perfect location, spacious, clean. Great communication with host. Would definitely recommend.

United KingdomThere was only two larger towels supplied even though we booked for 4 people. Luckily 2 people had bought their own towels. One of the bedrooms smelt smoky.
Very clean apartment, had almost everything you needed. Parking outside and a nice outdoor area. Was perfect for 4 people with a bathroom for each couple.

United KingdomNot a big deal but bed for myself was quite soft but that’s because I have back issues but still seemed like everyone had a good rest. Lockbox wise - again but a biggy but maybe a quick video can be made and shared with guests so they know exactly where to go to find the keys. Have had this before with other bookings and was that extra bit helpful.
Really nice and cosy basement floor apartment with 2 spacious rooms, 2 shower rooms/toilets and kitchen with lots of utilities although we didn’t use much here. Lots of parking outside, be mindful you have to go down some steps to make it to the front door.

Martin, our host was so very helpful and easy to contact. He provided all necessary information in a timely manner and gave us clear details of how to collect keys etc and very useful photos to help us easily locate the property. The appartment itself was very well appointed and comfortable and absolutly perfect for my friend and I and ideally located for us for all that we had come to see and do in the area. The apartment was spacious, light and airy and wonderfully quiet. It was absolutely perfect for 2 friends like us who like our creature comforts with 2 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms , one ensuite so we both had our own space but also a great kitchen area in which to relax after a long day enjoying the all that the locality had to offer- in our case this was visiting John's Garden which was the main purpose of our visit which was conveniently located next to Ashwood Nursery, (well worth it if you enjoy a stunning garden and a few plants to take home to remind you of your trip as well as a cafe serving tasty food and delicious cakes and cream teas)! We also found lots of other lovely gardens to visit and even more plants to buy- (a car load by the time we went home). The appartment is also not far from the pictuesque canal where there were some friendly Pubs serving good food. The outside space of the appartment was also a bonus but sadly the weather conspired against us to enjoy this more fully on this occasion. We would certainly love to return to this appartment again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others especially as Martin, the host, was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you Martin we had a much needed break and an absolutely wonderful and stressfree weekend thanks to you and your great appartment!

AustraliaIt was advertised as ground floor when we had to climb down 2 flights of concrete steps to get to front door. Inside there were steps to get to the rooms and bathroom. No window in bathrooms so unable to see.

United KingdomThe heating & hot water weren't available on checkin and turned out to be due to the boiler loosing pressure. On requesting how this could be fixed, the host didn't really respond at all fo upto 36 hours. Was lucky to have found it out from the internet myself. But if I wasn't able to, then would have ended up spending almost the entire stay without any hot water or heating especially with kids. There were no kitchen tissues/towels provided making it really hard to clean up after usage. There were no dishwasher tablets provided, hence ended up washing all the dishes myself which isn't something I'd want to do on a holiday.
The property was clean and comfortable. The location was comforable to reach the places that I had planned to visit nearby Dudley.
