The top windows didn’t open to allow more air in at the top bedroom. But other than that it was great. Oh and the room was located right at the top. Not great but still worth it,

The room and facilities were well-kept. The staff were exceedingly helpful! I liked the shared utility room with fridge, microwave, ironing board, etc. The location was excellent - very much in the thick of things!

We liked it all.

Great location, lovely and clean and had everything you need for a stay - tea/coffee selection, water, biscuits and toiletries. Room was compact but fine for a couple. Owner was lovely and really helpful. There is a communal kitchenette that you can use. The fridge was handy. Also had glasses and a microwave etc, should anyone need them. We noticed from some reviews that there was mention of noise. We didn’t find this a problem (back, top floor room) but earplugs were provided.

Location is perfect for us, close to the sea and lots of places for food and drink. The beds were so so comfy. Lovely shower and everything you could need was provided. Staff friendly and helpful. It was loud at night with the bustling pubs and lots of people, but I liked that! Earplugs provided and solve that issue. Great nights sleep both nights!

The hotel seems to have two types of rooms: either an inner and quiet but small one or a big but frontal one, where the walls hardly stop noise from the street outside. They do provide ear plugs which help with that during the night. Improved acoustics would really make the frontal rooms perfect!

The hostess went above and beyond to help us with the room and our luggage, was very patient and hospitable. Great location in kemptown.

Friendly welcome. Nice big room. It was my partners bday and they put up balloons and a banner. Great location. Next to a pub, but we had ear plugs, and were out late anyway.

Sometimes the street is noisy, but we tend to go on weekends and it is brighton after all :) nonethless, the room provides earplugs which is very helpful

A little noisy in the street, but not too disruptive.

We love swimming in the sea at Brighton and enjoyed a night dip, so we were very cold and loved the contrast of the cold to the warmth of the room and hot water in the shower...a great welcome for us. The area was perfectly close to the beach front, and in an area we really like.

You could hear everything going on outside the hotel.

The guest house was located perfectly for everything we wanted to see. Discreetly hidden away, and cosy and intimate. The staff were friendly with smiles on their faces. I would definitely book again in the future.
