Not an easy journey to and from hotel but the hotel did warn me by email and I had plenty of time.

The lady in charge of the leisure centre was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Interesting building.

The pool water was actually cold even tho it stated heated pool . We were disappointed with couple things with room As it was an executive room the batteries in remote were going flat so did not always work , heating in room did not come on even though radiators turned on. Very sparse with tea/coffes products in room

A rubber mat would have been useful in the bath - I nearly slipped whilst having a shower. A bit of a problem with wi-fi at first, but soon sorted by reception.

Ground floor room as requested, overlooking the courtyard. Perfectly adequate for the price. Good shower and handrails in the bathroom which proved useful. We had dinner on 3 nights which we enjoyed - good menu. Service was excellent, especially as big parties were in for 2 of those nights and the service staff had to go between rooms! Lovely views from front of hotel. We didn't use the extra facilities - spa, gym etc, so can't comment on those.

The hire was a little bit nosy in the morning and could hear doors slamming and breakfast could had more fruit variety.

I really liked the spa was included in the price and the hotel was really cosy and welcoming environment to be in. The location was perfect.

The beds were a little hard. Room was fairly basic. No welcome booklet with hotel/spa info, which would have been useful. A little unusual for the sauna/steam room to be situated through the gym and weights area, meaning you have to trapes through the gym in your swimwear 😬. There are a lot of stairs/steps and heavy doors to get through on route to some of the rooms, so accept the help offered at reception if you have heavy cases!

Breakfast was very good! Great choice - buffet style breakfast, local produce and perfectly cooked. Great selection of cereals, pastries and yoghurt too. Pool was also lovely - a reasonable temperature and adult only or family friendly sessions available. Sessions need booking but this just means it isn't busy. Room and bathroom was spotless!

The many steps, from entering the building to my room, especially when carrying heavy luggage. Hadn't quite anticipated just how many! This would stop me booking with my partner as I know he would not have coped. Aware it states that steps are involved but maybe this could made clearer as to the extent! The shower door! Please make this bigger, I am not huge yet found entry/exit difficult. Again couldn't take my partner as he would not have been able to use the shower! Would like a cubicle in the female changing room. I don't like communal changing at my age.

Bedroom cosy and comfortable. Help from staff to carry my suitcase to the room. Very approachable and helpful reception staff Selection of gluten free cereal. I had the cooked breakfast with no issues and the waiter got me toasted gluten free bread which makes all the difference when having a hot breakfast. Selection of juices. All well laid out and easily accessible. The swimming pool with the glass doors. Wonderful.

There are a lot of steps throughout the hotel and the bedroom was very tired, dated and a bit sad.

Staff were lovely, helpful and attentive. They moved us to a ground floor disabled access room as one of us had sprained their ankle that day which was very helpful! The meal we ate was very nice and restaurant staff were great.

The bed was too small for an adult couple. £12.50 per adult for breakfast was more than expected and this is why we did not have breakfast.

The room was as expected, cozy and as expected for the price I paid. The shower was amazing. The rooms facilities and amenities were as expected. The beer was nice in the bar but the pinot wasn't very nice but the bar had closed shortly after we ordered, so we couldn't raise the concern with the bar tender, so we left the drink on the table and went to bed. I wish we had time to take advantage of the spa and pool facilities. We will next time.

Room, cleanliness poor and full of flies when we walked in. Had to open windows to release them. Also a slug in the bathroom, cobwebs on the ceiling and dusty skirting boards.

The beds were super uncomfortable we hardly slept and most of the heaters didn't work so the room was very cold. The booking system for the pool/health sweet was very inconvenient as most other spa hotels we stay at doesn't have this in place.

The size on the room was great for our needs, the location is stunning and the breakfast was of good quality and very nice.
