No WiFi details in the lodge welcome pack. Shower head would be better with a sliding rail especially for children.

Our surroundings, full of flowers and birds, lovely to be immersed in nature. Not being overlooked was great.

Delayed getting access to the cabin, although we were compensated for this. Our cabin was also overlooked by a neighbouring cabin and not all bedrooms had net curtains, which would have been preferable.

Well appointed cabin with good amenities. Our kids especially enjoyed the soft play!

The lodge was a bit on the small size as we had two ypung chidren there wasnt really enough room to sit around the table, the bedroom with the single beds and the bed nearest the window was to close to the curtains so the curtains moved everytime i moved so this made a sound on the rail metal to metal which woke me up. The service in the restaurant was very slow as we had very young children it took ages for the food and when we were finished there wasnt any one around.

The location and the view from the lodge was lovely over looking the bay, the gardens around the lodge looked beautiful with the primroses, wild bunnies and the small birds , the accommodation had all we needed.

Looking closer at the lodge it appeared shabby. Window catches broke, just needed a fresh paint around skirting boards, they looked dirty.

Location is good but couldn't see views as advertised as huge evergreen trees blocked them

If I had to pick something it would only be that the hot water could have been a little hotter in the shower. It was still usable and warm, just personal preference.

Beautiful setting and a lovely 2 person lodge with a huge bathroom. Had everything we needed and amazing views :) They also let us bring our house cat which was a brilliant bonus as he loves to travel with us 😀

some of the rooms weren’t clean, some equipment was rusty (bathroom and kitchen) even though a map was provided it was hard to find the specific room we were allocated to the “heated pool” wasn’t on as mentioned on the site, the food was amazing and the lady at the bar was amazing and her husband cooked very nice food loved it

The different levels whilst walking, appreciate that the area is very hilly but paths were uneven and the steps between allocated lodges slippery due to the over hanging trees.

Ideal for what we were looking for. Needed two lodges for family get together, asked for two together but we were put in two separate ones on different levels and yet lodge next door was empty? We did inform the property of some of the party having walking difficulties but this seemed ignored. Facilities were good for our needs.

We tried to book the lodges earlier when we were planning our trip but ironically that wouldn’t accept a 2 day booking with only a week to go (off peak), and we ended up staying 2 nights anyway! Shame about the indoor pool. The lodge was clean but some of the fixtures are looking dated - but the price sort of reflected this.

We ended up staying at Watermouth Lodges at short notice because our original accommodation let us down on the day. We booked confirmed and arrived within 2 hours which was excellent - thank you Watermouth lodges.
