Asked for a quiet room on account of business travel, was immediately accommodated and heard no noise all night from the room. Staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Not all rooms are equal, have stayed in the upper floor rooms and they are quiet and peaceful. But noticed that other floors are not as quiet or generous. Just a note when booking .

They took a £100 deposit for a mini bar I didn't want or request. What really annoyed me was there was no milk for my coffee in the morning. Also no instant coffee just a stupid coffee machine I couldn't use.

They hotel it's self was wonderful really nice. The staff were nice.

Very little if anything. Maybe a couple more sockets in the room would be helpful and some complimentary water would be nice. Otherwise no complaints at all.

Our room was beautiful and a touch quirky in a good way. Excellent use of space and plenty of storage space. The wifi is exceptional. Any requests we made were sorted out immediately by the staff on duty. All staff were very helpful and friendly but a special thanks to Nathan. We were lucky enough to deal with him mostly and he is a wonderful representative of the hotel. He's knowledgeable helpful friendly polite and a genuine asset to the Velvet Hotel. He really made our trip. Would highly recommend the Velvet Hotel. The rooms were exceptionally quiet even when the hotel was full. We didn't hear any noise from other guests at any stage. My wife and I loved the hotel and its location. We were made feel right at home as soon as we checked in. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and we would love to return in the future. Parking is quite easy given how centrally located the Hotel is and there are plenty of options to choose from but a car really isn't necessary.

Room a bit depressing. Plug sockets and light switches in funny places. Very noisy neighbours. Finishing touches not great such as rusty plug in bath and sinks, big sofa with.a cheap stretchy cover on. Not a standard I would expect for a signature suite. We also ate in the brassiere and waited over an hour to get our food. One meal great, another not. Very warm and stuffy and air con not great.

Great location in the centre of Manchester - 3 minute walk from train station. Nice on site restaurant, friendly staff and quirky rooms.

We were a bit disappointed with the tv, it didn’t have Netflix or Amazon and you were unable to cast to screen, for the price you would expect an updated tv

The hotel is a beautiful hotel with class and sophistication. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the train station making it easily accessible and is a short walking distance from Manchester town centre. Also right next door to clubs and bars, which is great for a night out. Our room was clean and tidy, and we loved our stay here. It was our second time and we will definitely be booking again in the future. I 100% recommend to any couples looking for a nice break away.
