The only thing I would say is an extra chair in room 14. We stayed 2 adults one child and whilst was great, there was only 1 chair for an adult to sit. Had to sit on the bunks but it is not comfortable:)

Parking very convenient. Staff lovely. Great food. Reasonable price at the bar. Location great.

Pleasant staff, clean rooms, handy location for mountain biking with great parking
    • Leisure trip
    • Group
    • Double Room with Mountain View
    • Stayed 2 nights

My room (No.2) was at the front of the hotel and the road noise is substantial as it is an 'A' Road. Although not a busy 'A' Road, it is a main route for trucks as well as cars. Thankfully main flow of traffic ceased around 11 pm, but I needed my earplugs and the window closed to achieve decent sleep. There is also a double door that goes to the conference room and this has a harsh closing which results in a 'bang' being heard in the room. The walls are not the best at silencing sounds, so if you are a light sleeper - be prepared.

    • Very clean rooms • Breakfast had good choices from simple pastries, porridge, vegan full breakfast, Welsh full breakfast etc. • The staff are very friendly. • The beer garden was nice. • Allowed to keep mountain bike in the hotel conference room to keep it safe. • Free parking. • Good communication from messages sent. • Decent hot water and shower/wash facilities

There was a foot race the same time of our stay so the supporters were very noisy at dinner which is understandable when you put a drinking group of people together trying to out brag the others. Only time the room was quite was when they had food in there mouths.

Arrived and checked in early, staff stored luggage until room ready then they carried luggage to room. Had asked for a bottle of wine for the room due to our 35th anniversary went above and beyond.

The only small negatives were the LED lights in the room (on TV and fire alarm - these cannot be helped, and the large gap under the door that let the hallway light in. The shower pressure was poor.

Downstairs was amazing! Restaurant was beautiful and amazing food - super good value too. Rooms had not yet been renovated but appeared still modern and really clean. Nice decor too. Breakfast was also delicious

    A lovely Snowdonia Inn

We had a back room over the kitchen, which was a quite noisy in the evening.

Lovely accommodation located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The staff were really friendly, and extremely helpful. We had two dinners and three breakfasts, and the food was amazing. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The fact that its down the road from Betws-y-coed is probably a plus as it's a lot quieter.

    Everything was great.

A great place to stay. Loved the new decor, very stylish and welcoming with the warm colours and artwork. Comfortable room with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant both evenings of our stay and the food was excellent with good menu choices. Really good breakfasts, good choices and nice to see small portion option of the Full Welsh. Poached eggs were perfect as well. The best thing at Tyn y Coed without question is the staff, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. A special mention to Beth,Tanya, Ella and Tomos. Would love to return and can highly recommend.

    Nothing.

We had a super welcome from Tania and despite the fact she was juggling the refurbishment of half of the property and builders everywhere, we were made to feel at home, no effort was spared in making sure our mountain bikes were stored securely overnight, and we had the most fantastic meal in the cosy dining room. Fantastic. Thank you.

Friendly, welcoming staff, great dining room and food, loved the art on the walls! Perfect location for us as directly on Traws Eryri cycle route. Clean and comfortable.

The room was fairly basic and very expensive for the standard of accommodation. For that price breakfast should have been included in the room rate.

The food was exceptionally good. The meal we had New Year’s Eve was probably the best meal I’ve had all year. Hats off to the chefs. The bar area was cosy and had lots of character so hope this is maintained when the refurb is done. The staff were really friendly and helpful on the whole.

The person in the room next door had his tv up really loud till after 12am and we could hear him talking on the phone also. So sound proofing could be improved.

The staff were fantastic. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the steak and ale pie. My husband really liked his chicken burger (was a chicken breast not a chicken patty) The location was excellent.
