Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHaving no idea where to go on arrival. And unsure weather to just open the gate and drive on. After serveral un answered phone calls and a message. We finally go through and the lady told us where to go. It would of been more ideal to have known the before hand. It was pouring down with rain also so that didn’t help our situation! Double bed great, although my kids didn’t have a comfy sleep on a camp bed. Wish I’d of known and bought a blow up bed for them to sleep on . But overall it was ok for us for one night!
Location as expected. Tent clean on arrival. Toilets and showers clean and tidy.

United KingdomBeds in the bell tent could have been more comfortable and there is road noise but not a lot you can do about that as it’s near the road. Lights on our Bell tent didn’t work.
Nice campsite with lots of animals. Felt very safe and kids were able to explore. Shower block was good and liked the tuck shop onsite particularly as you can pay by card.

United KingdomThe only aspect which could have been better would have been another shower cabin as there were two showers on site which was busy in the morning. So another two showers would have been great. But this was a minor thing as the stay was amazing and we would definitely go back.
The site was lovely and small. The honesty shop was excellent. It was the perfect set up for our family break. The bell tent was excellent and the bed was really comfortable.

United KingdomMore facilities but it’s a new site and as they grow I am sure they will have a plan for this.
Location of the site was lovely, I think a few more toilets and showers are needed as there was a wait when the site was busy. My boys loved the bell tent.

United KingdomMain double bed too short for someone of my height (6"1), and wouldn't have been great to sleep in as a couple.
Lovely location, with good, clean facilities for a campsite. Easy access around the clock. Tent was as expected, with nice touches (fairy lights, small table / chest).

United KingdomToo few toilets and showers - only 2 showers for 2 camping fields. Only one washing up sink on the whole site and it didn’t have any cover so we got v wet in the rain. Campsite next to a noisy road - the traffic started early in the morning on the weekdays. Road noise bothered me but not our friends - so it may only be a problem for some people. Camp beds for the children weren’t v comfortable - especially compared to the proper bed for the adults.
Lovely bell tents. Lovely camping field with wildflowers growing round the bell tents. Plenty of space. Comfy beds for adults. Clean facilities. Friendly, helpful campsite owner. Lovely little shop. Spacious site - each pitch has plenty of room. Great to have use of a fridge and freezer. We loved having a fire pit.

United KingdomFarm shop wasn't stocked.
Exactly as advertised. Lovely location and great toilets. We went as a family of 3 and all ended up sleeping in the same bed as I didn't fancy the camp bed. Only improvement would be to be able to hire an additional mattress potentially, so you can all sleep in the same level of comfort.

United KingdomUnable to locate anyone to speak with upon arrival at site, had to leave and return. Difficulty in locating anyone to help us upon return. Upon final return to sleep, in the dark, a neighbouring tent had swapped our lamps, our replacement was not working, so it was too dark for one of our party to stay overnight!
Very easy to locate. Large and comfortable bell tent, double bed plus 2 good quality, sturdy camp beds. Lamps provided, some outdoor furniture, and a fire pit to use. Animals on sight are an added delight!
