How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I have to mention it, that on my first night I had a surprise visitor in my room. The man who previously stayed in my room returned, and he still had access to my room. The staff was very apologetic and understanding about this strange situation and they also gave me a refund for the night. On the other hand, the next day I met this gentleman at the reception, and he was very nice and kind, so it was easy to look at it as a funny adventure.
Overall we really enjoyed staying here. The room was great, with comfortable bed, and a perfect place to rest at the end of the day. We also had great breakfast. The staff was very nice and friendly, I would definitely return.

The hotel needs some refreshing at certain places - paint, wall fixes and etc. But that's not a deal breaker for me.
The staff was friendly and understanding of my late check in. The hotel is at a convenient location which is close to the train station and easy to get to the airport. The hotel has a lot of rooms and parking spaces.

My room looked on to the busy square, so there was a lot of noise until about 11 pm (but with the windows closed, most of the noise was cut out).

Even the hotel is situated in the city center, the area is full of strange people... The breakfast could be improved.
Clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. Good location in the city center, ideal for bus, train and taxi that links to the airport.

I know it said you could request a bath mat. I desired a bath as been in Spain 9 days showering. The bath was luxury. Alas your baths are exceeding slippery I slipped and knocked my head on the tiles. I took me a long time to get out.,I think your polite notice about bath mat request, should be more safety aware.

No tea and coffee available in the room, you did have access to free teas and coffees in the reception area that was 24/7 however coming downstairs from 7th floor to get a cup was a little inconvenient but not a big problem.
Great hotel, right in the middle of town so would be ideal for weekends away. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff were really helpful, polite and courteous. They arranged a grab and go breakfast for us as we were leaving at 4am. They also had a bus timetable for the airport buses from the bus station around the corner. I would stay again if I was flying out of Luton or visiting the city.

Bit grotty looking on outside but pleasantly surprised on entry
Nice size room. Free breakfast was very good and delicious. Located well for train and in town centre.

A bit weird smell in the room, rather cold hallways and cold room in the first place (closed the window immediately). A noisy group was in the lobby upon our arrival and we heard noises thorugh the window also.
Great location, breakfast included, helpful staff, flexible check-in, convenient check-out. Very comfortable for a short stay!

The only thing I didn't like was the area at night. Down the road were loads of young kids and gangs, which did make you feel very uncomfortable. However, this is not the hotel problem.
The staff were lovely, the free tea and coffee was great and the hotel area downstairs was clean. Breakfast was OK. Room was clean and tidy. Close to the town

It’s not in a good area in Luton you do feel quite intimidated if you walk about the area, I tried to find a nice restaurant but wondered around the centre for 1 1/2 hours and found nothing but awful fast food restaurants.
It’s very very central in Luton main shopping area, the staff were excellent, it was inexpensive and the old saying you get what you pay for, however it was much better than expected and I would certainly stay there again, the breakfast was also very good.

The room was very noisy. There was some noise 24/7 that sounds like knocks inside the wall. There is a night club not far with loud music
Close to Luton Airport. The breakfast was good with free gluten options. At the lobby there is coffe muchine and tea 24/7 and a microwave. 1 minute from luton mall and 5 minutes from buses to central London
