How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent location for Heathrow T5 and a good bundle of services: restaurant and pub with direct view of the runway, and of course the pods. Those are fun! Altogether, better service than what you would expect from an airport hotel.

Shop unavailable - unable to pay for items at reception - Really?!!!! Bath shower fitting is too low. Air conditioning remote batteries dead. Bed very uncomfortable.

Front deck staff member when checking out very unhelpful with directions to the POD system. More interested in his mobile phone.
Restaurant and staff very helpful. Food was very good and service very quick.

Not much really except that our flight had changed so we cancelled our very early 5am morning call which we still got but these things can happen through lines of communication issues, but since I am early riser it was not much of a problem.
The close proximity to the airport via the pod which we had never used was excellent. The bar was basic but open and had very good views of the airport if you were into plane spotting. The food was excellent in fact better than we expected.

Horrendous wait for everything at dinner. Really ridiculous.
Position, able to catch bus to terminal 5. Breakfast was good, loved seeing the planes landing.

The room was clean albeit quite small and the restaurant was on the pricy side for what was offered but to be expected given the location.
Location was perfect, close to T5. Price was very competitive.

Hotel is extremely expensive! The room was ok and the toilet in the bathroom is extremely close against the wall!
Property’s location is perfect if you are flying to/from Heathrow Airport! Also this is a great spot if you love watching planes!

Very very basic room and the restaurant was abysmal for the price. Very basic food served at a price higher than that of zone 1 in London.
Very convenient for Heathrow, staff were very helpful getting us transport to the terminal.

Looking at the pictures on booking, it seems a bit better than actually is. In fact, the facility is a bit aged.
It's a great idea for a cheap, clean, and quick stop by Heathrow, either terminal 5 or 3. You can get on the bus from T5, and instead of booking an uber, which is way more expensive, just ask the friendly staff at the desk to book a taxi for you to T3 (21£), which is not directly connected with public transportation. For those of you arriving late without having had the chance to have dinner, the hotel restaurant, which I didn't try, is open until midnight, otherwise nearby at walking distance there's a McDonald H24.

The rooms are very noisy. Lots of people slamming doors at night, kept waking us up.

There was creaking in my room which affected my sleep.

We waited over an hour for service in the restaurant for dinner ,very busy and not enough staff serving . Also the pods to the airport terminal were too expensive,should be per pod not per person .

Because of its close proximity to the airport (the hotel is right next to the runway) it gets noisy in the early morning (however, this didn't bother me too much as I had to get up early anyways).
Spacious, clean room perfect for staying one night before departing from Terminal 5. The hotel is easy to reach by bus from the airport terminal.

Put a hold on my card, even though it’s a debit card - booking said payment would be taken at check-in , which it was, I had to present my card even though it was against the booking. I’ve no problem with that but looks as if ‘hold’ on my card is going to go for the full 30 days.
