My room was very tired and in need of refurbishing. More signage for lifts and menus for restaurants available in rooms so can choose where to eat while you are in your room

Pot holes in the car park! You could only book a 2 hour slot at the pool??

Breakfast was amazing and the steak frites was so good in the bar that I ordered it both nights! Gorgeous view from the restaurant. Loved the size of the room and all the storage. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only complaint I would have is the facilities in the room, a hairdryer would have been handy! The pool area also could just use some more regular cleaning checks as there was dirty items and glasses spread about.

All the staff I met were so kind and welcoming. On arrival, we were actually upgraded to a room with a view of the garden/golf course. This was a lovely surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the spa facilities too.

Keycard didnt work, so got locked out of room. I had to go back down to reception.. This was inconvenient.

The mattress in our room was dreadful! Although it had a thin topper on, if we go again I would ask for at least two more toppers, because as it was it was like sleeping on concrete!

Great location. Staff very obliging and cheerful. Food was very good. Plenty of good quality comfortable chairs in the Bar area, as well as other quieter areas of the hotel. A bonus if one is reading! The Head Waiter was outstanding, and the Dining Room very well organised and running like clockwork when he was present. Everywhere particularly clean & tidy. The room we were in was well equipped and well maintained.

Please install proper bicycle parking - Sheffield stands with cover from rain. It's a great cycling area and the hotel should encourage cyclists to stay there by doing this.

The Spa was brilliant the reserving of beds excellent plenty of room. Spa treatment excellent. The hotel staff were all very nice always said hello . We had a lovely lady who served us afternoon tea she was just lovely. Afternoon tea amazing value my friend commented better than the Ritz. Sports bar food again couldn't fault staff again excellent couldn't go out their way to help. We wanted to decide our bill four ways and sorted it out. Beds very comfortable, good tea and coffee.

Location was great, surrounded by 2 golf courses, facilities superb with a pool and spa, staff were friendly and helpful. Dining room was large and had great views and the breakfast was fantastic.

There are lots of staff that are very young and struggle to understand how to deliver quality service no sign of a manager on the floor checking service delivery.

Sadly you have to book the spa and if you don't do that very early you are unable to use it between 10 and 6. The spa is very busy and there is only a small-ish pool, a sauna and steam room. Breakfast buffet is ok but at certain times there is nothing left. Also, the building is a little old so the room noise between floors can be clear.

The room size was good and the beds very comfy. There is plenty of parking space.
