Although it was not a cold day the heating in the room was turned up and we had to keep the window open to feel comfortable. Disappointing that a Greene King hotel did not have draught beer available: 3 handpumps but not with any beer.

The room was a little small but quite adequate for a one night stay.

Omg . I didn't want to get out of the bed the mattress was so comfy. Room was very clean.. room cleaners nice to chat to. Only problem was room heating was turned of and room was frezzing cold.

There weren’t staff “on site”, we fetched them from the adjoining pub to book us in which wasn’t the quickest, even an internal phone to alert them would be handy. There are a few aesthetics which could be tidied up. Opens direct to carpark so whilst the location is handy it’s not a “picturesque” hotel.

Joined to a busy pub. The staff on for breakfast were amazing, above and beyond sort of helpful. Great location for where we were visiting. Huge and comfy room, with full size bath and powerful shower.

the location is good the bed is comfortable and the room is clean , and the fact you still have to go into the pub lounge to ask the bar tender that you don't want a drink you just want to book into the Hotel and can some one come over to the Hotel reception to book you in

breakfast is expensive for what you get , the room was a little to small but warm and comfortable the bed and pillows were very good , the bathroom was very small but not a major problem shower was good and had good pressure not keen on the dispenser for shampoo & body wash , have stayed here many times and always had good WIFI but this time the WIFI was not connectable not sure why ? all thing accountable the room etc etc it was a little over priced especially when Breakfast was not included in the price

There isn't a 24 hour reception, I guess it's too small a number of rooms to justify a full round the clock service. The front door took a strong tug to get it open when I left (the reception was unmanned). When I stayed on a Friday night into Saturday there was a definite whiff of spliff in the air. An even more minor point was the view out of my window, a scruffy old building... but I dealt with that by closing the curtains and going to the pub next door!

My room was decently sized, the single bed was clean and very comfortable. It was well heated, with a desk, wifi, kettle and teas, sachet milk and coffee. The TV worked and had all the Freeview channels. The shower and toilet room was excellent, with decent controls (but ask for a bathmat at reception). There's a pub next door which opens for decent cooked breakfast (£9) but I didn't find it noisy and the drinks range was excellent. The price was outstandingly good. The car park is well sized.

Perfectly clean Very comfy bed Sad that the adjoining pub closed for food at 9pm Sad there was no bacon for breakfast as they had run out but the staff were fantastic. Tom from front desk in the hotel and bar/restaurant was great.
