The rooms are small but it comes with the age of the building.

It is in a lovely area and the rooms are charming. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Continental breakfast help your self - plenty of choice and good coffee and tea selection. Could not ask for more. We were allowed to book in early which helped the smooth running of our day.

Its a gem of a place that I have used before. The staff are really friendly especially the blonde lady in the restaurant who has such great people skills, the food very nice, the rooms are so comfortable and it has a nice little range of ales and other beers in the bar. Its in a nice little spot in the countryside but 5 minutes from civilization.

There wasn't really anyone on duty during breakfast and a lot of the breakfast goods were in plastic packaging. Fresh crusty bread to cut and toast and smartly presented pats of butter in ramekins on the table and similar with marmalade would have made it feel so much more luxurious.

Room very comfortable - although be prepared for floors sloping in different directions! - It's a very old property. The decor was very well done with a lot of good through and quality materials. The food cooked in the restaurant was excellent!

You just have to get used to the unusual floor level; but it's full of charm.

This was a last minute booking after another hotel failed us and we arrived after food had finished. So the owner provided us with plates and crockery for a takeaway and was so helpful. Made sure we ate before she showed us the room which was really stylish and comfortable with a great shower.

No complaints but Add said it included breakfast. Its a continental breakfast though and I think that should be on the description. There is however loads of food to choose from. The food was OK but didn't blow me away. It gets very busy if you're arriving early. We had to do a bit of car jenga to get the car outside the pub.

Friendly staff, good beer comfortable room. I'd definitely stay again. Its also a lovely quiet area.

Parking at the pub was limited so we had to park in the street. Hopefully the neighbours don’t object!, We enjoyed a lovely evening meal with wine and thought it very reasonable. We felt the breakfast was dissapointing. Although we did’nt expect a cooked breakfast (it said continental) but croissants and pan au chocolate in plastic bags left a lot to be desired!,

Lovely cozy pub, good selection of beers, wine and gin. Nice to be able to take our dog into the bar. The staff/bar staff were very friendly and helpfull. The locals pointed us in the right direction for a not too much of a muddy walk given the dreadful weather we have been having.

Period pub - extremely busy on the Sunday afternoon when we arrived, which for a country pub is always a good sign. Comfortable room.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Windmill Inn. My room was recently refurbished, comfortable and warm. The shower was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, dinner was freshly cooked and delicious. I would definitely stay again.
