The water temperature in the shower was only lukewarm

I really didn't like the huge Dracula type mirror in the bedroom. I found it dominated the room and to be pretty scary so I tried to cover it up with a towel. I found the bathroom to be from around the 70's, so a bit old fashioned with a really creaky floor. I tried to get a bath in the afternoon so it was a long time after the other guests had used the hot water but the water was lukewarm at best so it wasn't a pleasant experience. The bathroom shower really needs to be an electric heated power shower type one. Also the toilet seat was a bit loose. It got really cold one morning so I asked the cleaning staff if I could have the heating on. She got one of the other workers who turned the valve on the radiator and said there it will soon heat up. It didn't, it remained cold, so it was pretty chilly sitting in my room. I was on the top floor and it rained a lot which I think contributed to the cold. Everything in the bathroom and bedroom was really clean though.

The staff were amazingly friendly and always happy. The food was really nice and the owner made some suggestions which involved part of her own history of where she came from. When I asked for something that wasn't on the menu as one item they said it wasn't a problem and actually made it for me. The dining room itself was really lovely and had big dragon statues sort of in the wall. It was quite busy at times as well so a popular place for a special treat.

Really friendly staff. Their restaurant is closed Monday night but they set up a table for us to eat our fish and chips. Excellant breakfast . Comfy bed. Very good shower. Located only a short walk from the train station.

The car park isn't huge and was fairly tight for a large van, but still usable.

Easy to find. Happy, helpful staff and spotlessly clean room. Booked a single room as it was all that was available at the time. The room wasn't huge but was spotless and very comfortable.

Can be a bit noisy with the window open but it as more than acceptable

The first room we stayed in was not very good the window would not shut properly and the centrel heating did not work also we had no hot water when i complained they said that there was no other rooms but eventually they gave us another room for the second night which was much more enjoyable

Relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and helpful, I was able to sit in the lounge early on so not to disturb my family and the early morning staff were very happy to make me coffee etc before breakfast service began

Lovely hotel, great staff, bed was so comfortable and room lovely and warm. Great breakfast room, food lovely. The restaurant/lounge was decorated flamboyantly. Would 100% recommend a stay and a meal in the Chinese below it.
