Even though we didn’t really need breakfast as leaving early the next morning, the price was expensive without breakfast. Didn’t see before but when we went to bed we found dirty underwear on the floor in the room. There was only decaf coffee and no spoon. Shower was dark - no light.

The location was beside the river and east to find. Lovely food in the restaurant.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom needs some hooks. Borrowed iron & ironing board which was useless.

Dirty stained carpets. Lumpy sunken bed. Chipped paintwork. Dirty and rusty furniture on the balcony so unable to use.

We arrived at 3.45 but there was no one at the property. It said book in from 3pm and we were unable to get access until 5pm. Had travelled a long way and it was cold and dark. Unable to get through on the phone to anyone. The lighting outside in the car park, leading to the rooms was inadequate… it was PIR lighting and it doesn’t come on soon enough. Was very dark, tricky when you’re a bit older…No breakfast served at the property…

Lovely room, comfy and warm. Great bed. View from small terrace over the river. Staff kind and helpful. Great food in the restaurant. Hannah was cooking and her steak was excellent!

told on arrival breakfast not available given a discount card to go to a local Spanish cafe, which as we only had a short time to visit family this was time consuming, and we had to find somewhere near our family. also on the first night when the weather was -2 the heating went off during night and did not come back on until sometime during the day.

It is a lovely, clean, and quiet room with a small veranda to sit outside. I had a delicious meal in the bar in the evening (Burger and the best chips ever!)

There wasn't facilities for breakfast but we didn't require it so it was no bother to us. There were 3 different styles of cuisine on offer in the pub for an evening meal which was great and the views from our room were stunning. I loved the little touch of the towels made into the shape of swans on the bed and the bathroom was very impressive.

There was live entertainment and this was possibly louder than it needed to be. The excessive sound in the room was just a dull thump. Had the volume in the venue been just a little lower it would have been fine. Alternatively advising of the entertainment when I booked would have helped me make a more informed choice. The fire alarm went off twice and a friend had to go into the hall to ask the staff to deal with it. We assumed they simply switched it off. There was a smoke machine in the hall and this seemed to be the reason the alarm was being triggered.

The location was idyllic, backing on to the river the view was pleasant and the room was comfortable

As much as it wasn’t dirty the property felt like it could do with a deep clean. Green electrical box outside the rooms was buzzing all the time but thankfully wasn’t able to hear it from my room

Lovely, immaculately clean room with surprising touches such as the towel arrangement, robes, complimentary wine, water and an Espresso machine. A very nice shower room and a small balcony overlooking the river. The live music was a real treat.

The restaurant was closed for the evening apart from a separate bistro which had a limited menu. Although booking.com said breakfast was available this was not the case which was disappointing .

Accommodation was clean and comfortable 👌 and the balcony overlooking the river was a bonus.
