I have stayed at the Royal many times over a couple of decades. It is a well-run friendly hotel. It has not been ruthlessly modernised, and consequently keeps its charm and quirks of times gone by. Staff are helpful and very friendly.

Room 115 is right by an extractor fan which hummed constantly. Could hear it with ear plugs in !

The lighting in bedroom. Very dull overhead light and no bedside or over bed reading light. Either would have been nice and my over all score would have been excellent.

Good variety of food. Staff excellent, attentive and helpful especially Jodi? week day breakfast. Excellent bar menu.

Noise levels could be high at times.

The staff were fantastic and really helpful even getting my bags moved to my new room when changing from a single to a double for my daughter joining me . Nothing was to much trouble x the Sunday lunch was really good . Will be back soon hopefully x

Most was good but it was warm while we were there and we had a thick quilt on the bed....great in cold weather...

Hotel is right on the seafront, close to everything. We asked for a seaview room and were allocate the Princess Diana room it was very nice. there is a lift for those unable to use the stairs and also a free car park. The buffet breakfast was good and plenty of everything. We did not eat in in the evening but menu looked good.

Breakfast very poor compared to where I was the week before in Austria. British establishments have no real idea on continental style breakfast. British cooked ok.

we asked for an easy accessible room due to limited mobility room 108 was ideal easy access to lift walk in shower and hand rails in bathroom buffet breakfast plenty of choice and friendly helpful staff requests for help with extended check out time were sorted straight away we have stayed at the royal before and would not hesitate to recommend

The single bed in the room seemed small. Thought i was gonna fall out at one point. The shower head was probably the smallest I've ever seen although I managed to shower ok.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was nice and well lit. Good location and easy parking included. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food.

The hotel is getting close to needing redecoration But I prefer old hotels with character

The only thing this time was noise from the bars by the hotel very noisy but that was not the hotels fault.

Stayed at this hotel many times and we love it from nice clean rooms bathroom and the beds, also the breakfast had a great choice and really tasty.

Nothing really, yes if you wanted to find things you could like it took 10 min to check us in but this is minour, The hotel is what it is, a little bit of paint on the walls out side my bedroom would not go a miss Hanging the huge picture of the Queen up some where but it is what it is its not 4/5 star but its a excellent 3 3+ star and good value for money, less than 5 min walk from the center of town & the beach no complaints.

The last time i stayed in the hotel was over 18 years ago and the hotel was"tiered" lloking then. i booked the hotel because it was the only one i knew in weston, However we were very pleasently supprised. the room was an good size, a side sea view. The hotel and my room looked like it had been complettly re vamped the bed was comfatable, there was lots of tea and coffe and biscuites towels etc and pleanty of hot water, There was a small heater you could use to top of the radiatorors if you were chilly, a TV (A LITTLE SMALL) but ok. The room overall was good 8/10 a good room. It looked like since i was there last the hotel had gone through exstensive renervationsand looked good for them. It has a large car park. There are pleanty of places to sit in the hotel or in the garden or beer garden to watch the world go round and take in amazing views of beach, My breakfast was excellent i took a full english of a exstensive menu A very good medium priced hotel, the price was right for the hotel quality i 100% would go back.

It’s a bit old and dated… lots of stuff around in the bedroom ( Prince of Wales room) making it a bit busy and not as relaxing as it could have been. Bed wasn’t great…

It was clean, friendly and comfortable. There was everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was great.

Room not really clean.. Bed divan grubby, carpet wasn't hoovered well, empty milk carton left on floor.

Great location, friendly staff, nice bar, sea view.
