The rooms were very hot during the night. The radiators weren't on in the rooms but seemed to be in all of our bathrooms.

We all had a very good stay. The rooms are very comfortable and had all we required in them. The breakfast was of a good quality and the dinner was excellent. It was a good location for our trip to Badminton Horse Trials.

Hardly any fresh fruit at breakfast. Would have liked the option of bread rolls. The roman ɓlind in the bedroom fell down. The radiator in the bathroom came away from the wall and was catching on the bathroom door. However, the minor maintenance issues would not put me off staying again.

The atmosphere was wonderful. Staff were friendly, and the service was superb. Food was tasty. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding. Beautifully furnished.

The telly didn’t work in our original room so we were moved to a bigger, better room but unfortunately the bathroom sink was blocked so filled up each time we used it, resulting in us having to wait for it to clear before it could be used again. There were no shelves at all in the shower so bending down to get shampoo, etc was a pain (literally) as we both have arthritis! The water stains around the sink and shower grouting could do with some refreshment. We still loved our stay and would recommend the amenities!

The people in the room upstairs were up and walking to and fro in their room from 6 am onwards and the building is very creaky - not so good!

Lovely place - rooms are really nice and comfortable. Great pub too - excellent food! Lovely location outside of Minchinhampton. Good facilities

The rooms could do with a little redecorating, especially the bathroom which was looking a bit tired and worn.

Room was hot, particularly the bathroom. No socket near the mirror for hairdryer. However, overall stay was very good.

Room was very hot with no obvious way of cooling apart from opening the window. Not willing to do that as on ground floor. I don’t eat cooked breakfast and was a bit disappointed with the other options.

Ample free parking. Comfortable bed.

There was a machine for coffee at breakfast but the drink was not very hot when made! That was all that wasn’t up to scratch!

Breakfast was excellent! Plenty of choice! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was lovely and the service and evening meals very good! The beds were comfy and rooms sited on the side of the hotel away from road. So bedrooms quiet!

It would have been nice if breakfast finished a little later as it was the weekend- would have liked longer in my comfy bed!

Room was okay but the shower could be improved by the installation of a shelf in the shower itself saves having to place the shampoo bottle on the floor at your feet and scrabbling around on your knees trying to pick it up afterwards. More shelf space by the washbasin would also be helpful.

Breakfast was excellent, dinner a trifle OTT. Room was fine but would have benefitted from another chair. 2 guests 2 chairs would be nice! Overall good, staff were exceptional.

My specific request for a twin bedded room (for mother and adult daughter) - was not provided. Just two singles zipped together with one duvet. However the manager was very apologetic and provided a second duvet. Lovely comfortable beds and we were very warm.

Our rooms weren’t tidied, beds made or water replaced - but as we left we saw that there was a disc on the door handle to say if you wanted a room clean - this wasn’t made clear to us - but realistically was probably our own fault

Rooms could do with a bit of TLC.

Accomodation was a great base to explore the area. Plenty of parking and a welcoming check-in. Rooms were good value for money. Food and drink at the Ragged Cot was reasonably priced , service was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend a stay.
