Just as the previous reviews have said, Nancy and Scott run a beautiful guest house. Nancy is an absolute gem! Room, bedding and atmosphere were wonderful. Outstanding made to order breakfast.

Pebbles were hard work with the suitcases but fortunately Scott very kindly helped us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to friends and family. The house and gardens were both lovely.

One of the best guest houses I’ve stayed in. Lovely welcome from Nancy who goes out of her way to help. The place is really well maintained both inside and out and the massive garden is beautiful. Location is ideal for both the town and the area. Parking on site is brilliant. Great breakfast. (Thanks Scott for the plasters for my cut finger🤣). We will be back!

Absolutely nothing. Everything was great

The Poplars Guesthouse was absolutely beautiful. The whole house was beautifully decorated. The room was warm and cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen. The bathroom was extremely clean with a great shower. The breakfast was wonderful. .. porridge with a dash of whiskey! The owners were extremely helpful and friendly...and Ruby the dog was gorgeous too!

Breakfast excellent and freshly cooked to order. Location perfect for walking to town or surrounding area. Parking good. The owner was just lovely, happy and informative. The main house lounge areas were beautiful and peaceful.

The Poplars is a memorable place to stay. It’s a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Pitlochry and easy to find from the highway or the train station. The house is sparkling clean, the beds are comfortable, and the hosts are unbelievably warm and welcoming.

It was one of the most wonderful places of our trip. The location is wonderful, the village is very nice and lovely. We had a great walk and dinner. The host was super nice, gave advice for the walk and dinner. The room was small but very very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. With kettle, tea, coffee. We rested for a while in the guest lounge with a beautiful view of the sunset. Everything was perfect. And the breakfast topped it off, we had a wonderful freshly made, delicious Scottish breakfast like never before. It's a perfect romantic place for couples. I wish we could come back again.

I liked everything!

I received a very warm welcome. The house is beautiful, large and comfortable. My room was equipped with everything I needed and similarly warm and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly.

Everything was wonderful!

Nancy and Scott were nothing short of fabulous from the moment we arrived at the Poplars Guest House. They were both incredibly warm and welcoming, as well as accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was spectacular. We were full for the rest of the day! The highlight of the Poplars Guest House is certainly Miss Ruby. I can't tell you exactly who she is... you just have to find out for yourselves!

i feel bad i forgot her name but she was very very nice , spoke for a while after breakfast , the house was beautifully situated , lovely garden ,everything about the place was exceptionally clean , very quiet at night , excellent breakfast , i cannot raise one fault and we will be back for sure .

A very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The room and the bed especially was just super with a view that is stunning. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with biscuits which is always nice to have. A wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. A superb location for town and local walks. Highly recommended.

Can't think off anything everything was spot on and perfect every detail catered for.

We went away for the weekend love the area for walking around. Can't fault the Guest house couple who own it are amazing friendly people who care about there Guests good value for money breakfast was amazing. I actually lost my bank card in the street and the Owner found it and phone me as we were out for Dinner that evening. We arrived back at the Guest house and the owner knocked on the door and handed me my bank card back. Was so grateful that it was the owner who found it.
