Charming hotel! Fantastic service. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location convenient to so much in Glasgow. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Would highly recommend. The adjoining museum is also very cool.

Some items of furniture were a bit shabby however as the room price was reasonable it wasn't a problem. We ran out of tea bags quite quickly and had to ask for more.

The breakfast on both days was very good. We also had dinner there one night and that was fine as well. We did have some trouble closing the window and had to ask for help, which came quickly, however it would have been more helpful if there had been a notice explaining how to close the window. All the staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean though some things were a bit shabby for example the laminate on the bath and the bedside table was peeling.

We couldn't dine on 23 April (restaurant was closed) nor 29th (large party). Not a problem as there were excellent restaurants in the area.

Excellent breakfast with a good choice of menu and cereals. A dram of malt whisky on arrival was a first !

I needed to be away early. Breakfast starts at 8am which would have been ok but unfortunately the staff member with the key to the kitchen had slept in and I couldn't wait until breakfast was served a little later.

Located in a quiet but central location in the city centre. A good size room and the welcome dram on arrival was warmly received!

Amazing stay. All the staff were excellent and attentive. Special thanks to Sam for being such a gent and helping me with my suitcases when I arrived. The room and bathroom were clean. Great toiletries and other nice touches like the bottled water. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows are heavenly (I travel are lot and these are the best ever). The breakfast was amazing too. For a tired traveller after a long journey this was just the perfect stay to rest and refresh. Thank you .

This was largely because I missed the detail on the info outside, so I cant say the info wasnt provided - I booked for dinner at 7pm, but staff didnt point out that set meal menu ends at 6.45 - frustrating when we could have been there just that bit earlier. BUT never mind because when I explained it was the risotto (not on al la Carte menu) I was after the chef made it for me anyway.

Friendly, available staff who gave us all the info we asked for and extra interesting bits we wouldn't have thought of asking for. Very clear it's not 24 hour reception, but that was no bother as there is plenty of info provided around the hotel. Great breakfast and service.

Nothing. If you had very heavy bags and were on top floor there’s no lift but , tho we didn’t need it we were offered help with bags.

Super helpful staff, good location next to very interesting little museum about the history of piping. Very comfortable v large bed. Small hotel but perfect base and v friendly.

Water pressure was a bit low. 8am breakfast start made it difficult to make a 8:45 meeting without getting a taxi.

The location and quality of the hotel for the price were very good. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
