Evening dinner finished a little early at 20:30 as we only arrived at 21:00

Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing and whole stay brilliant. Lovely rooms with first class facilities. Perfect location for North Coast Norfolk.

Can't fault a thing! I was just gutted the chef called in sick that morning and I missed my full English but these things happen and the staff rallied as best they could to get people fed while they waited for someone to come and cover.

Outstanding! From the road it looks like any other building but once you get round the back it opens up and is an absolute gem! Finished to the highest possible standard for this type of accommodation with some truly lovely features. The rooms are quite small (I stayed in Lavender) but beautifully appointed. The restaurant is also outstanding with an incredible wine selection for such a small property and te food was exceptional.

We stayed at The Ostrich to attend a wedding locally and had the most wonderful stay. Couldn't fault anything. We called ahead to arrange early check in so that we could get ready for the wedding and this was arranged for us without fuss for a reasonable £10 fee. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I believe the hotel has undergone recent renovation and you can tell. The rooms were immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Very stylish and modern. We were very comfortable in our room and only wish we could have stayed longer to soak up the glorious weather. Bonuses were plenty of parking and beautiful outside spaces which would be lovely to enjoy a morning up of tea!

Music at breakfast. We could not fault the whole stay.

The food was superb, breakfast was great and the evening meal was really good, we had a crab salad and it was refreshing to get the full amount of crab. All the staff were great, happy, attentive. we loved the whole stay.

Unfortunately due to having to leave early, and the chef being in late we couldn't sample the cooked breakfast. So had cereal and toast. No tea as no hot water so both had coffee. It didn't spoil our stay as everything else was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, lovely room all mod cons. Bathroom was very good. Everything looked new, comfortable bed. Loved the private outside seating area. Good car park.

The food was exceptional. Breakfast was included with the price of the room and there was a great selection. All freshly cooked by experienced chefs. Delicious food at dinner with a great selection, again freshly cooked. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The table in the room was a little wobbly but really amazing room. Slightly above on cost but breakfast included was a real Bonus.

Constructive criticism- the handle to the sliding door into the en suite in the Lavender is not user friendly. Struggled to get towels dry on the lukewarm towel radiator.

Following renovation and remodernisation the Ostrich is nice and contemporary but retaining its Norfolk style.

See above, too much 'smoked' products on the menu. No mirror in the room near a socket to dry hair. No full length mirror although there are 3 walls with sockets that could accommodate this. The fan in bathroom is not the best extractor.

Accommodation very nice. Staff were unbelievable, in a good way. Very welcoming. The menu was very restrictive for us due to the amount of 'smoked' products on offer, i.e, steak was 'smoked', but no alternative of a non-smoked steak. Hannah was outstanding as well as Craig and Freya. We will return.

Was rather loud when the restaurant was being cleaned after evening service and during set up. Could hear tables being moved and dragged along the floor from the room.
