Fabulous find! Dog friendly with a sunny courtyard and all we needed for our stay. Only a few minutes walk to beach and town where there's plenty off dog friendly places to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend.

The property is comfortable, cosy & quaint tucked away between the main propert plenty of privacy. Lyz has thought of every detail to make your stay as stress free as possible with the welcome back including details and phone numbers of pubs, taxis, entertainment, places to go, things to see, directions to the town and other areas, and provides all the basic amenities you need in The Old Wash House, she is friendly, warm and very helpful should have any questions. The Old Wash House is has it's own character inside and out and it doesn't feel small, the space is optimised with lots of little useful space saving ideas! On a nice day the courtyard is lovely to sit out in, with a cuppa just listening to seagulls and other birds. It's close by walking or driving to a multiple of amenities and places to visit during your stay or you could just cosy up inside and relax in the quiet!

EVERYTHING, It was a lovely little cottage, and it has absolutely everything you need, even hair straighteners and a hair dryer and iorn! I could even bring my pup! Elizabeth even provided a dog bed and bowls. The cottage even has its own little yard that is safe, so doggies won't escape! Elizabeth even got me a birthday card and cake. Super cute little touches you definitely wouldn't get in a normal hotel.

I booked The Old Wash House for my parents as a Christmas present and they absolutely loved it. They thought the property had so much character and they loved how quirky it was. They said that Lyz the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and they felt super relaxed throughout the duration of their stay. They could easily walk to the beach and to town which was ideal because it reduced the amount of time they spent in the car and meant they could see the sights. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would like the thank Lyz for making my parents feel so welcome.

All you needed for your stay. Well equipped kitchen and all areas exceptionally clean. Our host Lyz made us feel most welcome when we arrived. Gave us advice in various areas and offered her help should we need her for anything. Nothing was to much trouble for her. A really lovely host/person that set out stay in the right direction.

Well what a gem of a place! 🏠 Lovely little place to stay. Clean and fresh and has all the comforts of home. Liz the host is really lovely😇 and friendly.😊 Everything you need in this little cosy dwelling.🏡 Close to beach🏖, town and places to eat and drink🍛🍷. Dog friendly too.🐕‍🦺 Will be definitely going back soon with our dog for lots of nice walks down the beach⛱️. We definately recommend!! ❤🐾🐾

I cannot praise the hospitality and the amenities in the wash house enough! It is the most charming, clean and most catered for accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. I cannot stress this enough, the attention to detail was incredible, from coffee machine, to an oven, to cutlery and all cleaning supplies. No expense has been spared to ensure the guests have literally, everything you could possibly need. We will be returning again, I only wish our stay was longer. So grateful for amazing service and hospitality shown

I can honestly say there is nothing i can think of that i didn't like

I found the place to be in reach of the train station. The town and the beach which was brilliant. The old wash house itself is very accommodating with everything you need. I found the owner of the property to be very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to friends for a relaxing holiday will hopefully return one day.

Nothing could have been any better...perfect!

Lyz, the host, was very warm and welcoming. The cottage location was perfect, less than a 10min steady stroll from beach or town centre. Cottage was very clean and well equipped, quaint, quirky and cosy.
