What a lovely place to visit! Cosy, comfortable and in a great location, the Coach House is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay at.. Amy and her family were great hosts, we did a lovely walk that was suggested and the fresh eggs were a really nice touch. .

The weather could have been better 🤣 Going for a meal at The Old Station House that is just up the road from The Old Rectory. Would definitely recommend staying clear of the place. Food was disgusting and attitude of the staff was just as bad……..

Fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived, such a lovely location and very friendly welcoming hosts. Stayed in the Coach House which was just so cute and cosy . It’s been done out very tastefully with lots of lovely little finishing touches…… Unfortunately it rained during our stay so didn’t get the chance to appreciate the lovely garden areas . Would definitely recommend it and hopefully we will return again soon 😊

Everything. Amy and the family met us on arrival. Booked 2 rooms for our family holiday. We used our large apartment as the base retiring to our own rooms at the end of the evening. Thank you for the eggs, milk and lovely bottle of wine. A perfect few days away.

This charming room is set apart from the main house on the first floor of the Coach House. The accommodation is compact, but the facilities are very cleverly integrated to make full use of the space whilst all fittings and appliances are to a high standard. A delightful stay with perfect hosts, despite the Devon rain!

Stunning location on their farm, really lovely welcome and you can tell that Amy and the family really care about the guests being comfortable. The coach house had everything we needed and honestly we would come again! It’s very close to the beautiful coast and was well situated for the wedding we went too.

Both the location and interior of the property were nothing short of spectacular. Everything, and I mean everything, was of exceptional quality giving every consideration to meeting your every need and then exceeding it! A genuine and warm welcome from the hosts and their polite and impeccably well mannered boys made us feel incredibly welcome in their beautiful family home. I look forward to a return stay.

I can’t think of anything as it was perfect.

Amy and Jarrad were so welcoming and went out of their way to help me and my daughter. I was particularly taken back by their willingness to put up a rail to help me access the building easier with my disability. The apartment had everything we needed and the grounds are stunning.

Couldn't fault it.

A beautiful property located in a peaceful and pleasant location. This is now our top go-to location when looking for accommodation near Barnstaple. Very welcoming hosts and the room is comfortable and the attention to detail is noticed. Had a great couple of days and slept like a baby in a very comfortable bed. Looking forward to our next visit thank you.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Beautiful location. Apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and well thought out. Really comfortable bed! Amy was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure everything was as it should be. The gift of the fresh eggs and milk was well received and there were other little extras including the flowers. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Great location and Amy and Jarrod were extremely friendly and helpful as were the menagerie of farmyard animals especially Coco the donkey. I would highly recommend this accommodation; characterful and practical. Idyllic setting. Will definitely visit again as we only scratched the surface of the surrounding area.

It rained two days.

We had such an enjoyable stay in The Coach House, a cosy and beautifully decorated outbuilding at The Rectory, with it's beautiful grounds and with our host's friendly farm animals. Absolutely amazing time was had. Our host, Amy was so lovely and generously gifted us with a dozen of her hens and turkey's delicious eggs, Thank you all very much for making our stay so special and for your kind hospitality.

There was nothing to dislike .

Amy and family were so welcome nothing was too much trouble they even invited my grandaughter to help feed the baby lambs which was lovely. It's a great place to stay would love to go back . Thank you Amy and all of your lovely family x
