Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe first room we were allocated was full of damp, wallpaper bubbling with water. The second room wasn’t damp but very cold as we were told we were the only guests so the heating couldn’t be put on. No breakfast and no entertainment as advertised however they did put music on the iPad through the speakers and open the bar. The hotel was clean in communal areas and the second room also clean.

United KingdomThe cups in the room were dirty, and where they were was all sticky. The bin hadn't been emptied and there was only one battery in the TV remote control. When we mentioned the cups they did go and get us clean ones.
It was handy for the Winter Gardens. The staff were attentive.

United KingdomRoom was very basic, more like a budget hotel. We only had one set of towels for two guests. Not the cleanest bathroom. Could do with a spruce up, carpet tatty, paint work yellowing. There was no control over the heating, with it being a small room the radiator warmed it up quickly, but then it was on all night at a high temperature. Bed wasn’t comfy every time you moved it creaked and bounces. There was a sign saying bar opening times 4 till 12. Music still blaring well past midnight then after music stopped other guests signing on the microphone going on till early hours of the morning with no sort of control from staff. Our room was directly over the bar. there didn’t seem to be any noise policing, guests still in and out of rooms socialising until 5 in the morning.
Appearance from outside looks welcoming. Spacious bar area, seating outside. Young man behind the bar was very pleasant.

United KingdomHad to change rooms as room 39 you could feel the spring coming through mattress TV picture rubbish. Moved to room 25 everything was ok . Mattresses need replacing seen better days. No breakfast on site said dinning room being renovated. No heating on had to ask for an heater room cold.

Hotel has recently been taken over by new owners. They'll need time to ad just. They were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location for the winter gardens.

United KingdomWe booked here again because we came the year before and loved the fact it had a proper bar beer on pumps, this time under new owners it was just cans of lager, beer available to purchase. Not the same we felt slightly disappointed and the prices were slightly unreasonable charging prices you would pay for a pint but these were not pint size cans. Had the beer been on tap we would have spent our money there and not in the pubs and bars around the area.
The location was perfect for the trip we were on pigeon weekend. This hotel is central to all the places were we needed to go.
