Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe location is quite a challenge for some cars it’s very hilly. Sowerby bridge has less to offer than Hebden bridge about 10-15mins away, we couldn’t find anywhere to sit in and eat other than one Indian restaurant and a Wetherspoons everywhere else was a takeaway.
The views from the balcony are lovely and having the balcony makes it feel more like a proper holiday! The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was very clean and of a good size. Lots of nice walks around the area and although the hotel is not within walking distance ( unless you want to climb back up the hills) it’s not to bad as it’s very quiet at night.

United KingdomI didn't not like , just a few issues i found net curtains had mould on them, tv mirror and top of the bed dusty . Hair in draw and the fan in the bathroom is dusty there where marks on the wall and pillow s not my type .
Lovely room balcony A plus ➕️ 😍 everything you needed was in the room. bathroom. Fabulous shower, awesome 👌 light breakfast, was a nice touch . Overall lovely stay would recommend and I would like to stay again . 🤗

Beds were really comfy , bedding and towels were super soft . Added touches bottled water, wine glasses, porridge and croissants. Bathroom was roomy and modern, everything for a perfect stay and very reasonable price . A gem of a find .

The property was very clean and warm with everything you could want. The complimentary porridge and croissant were a nice touch with as much tea and coffee as you desired. Very good communication with the host and friendly staff on site.

United KingdomShame about the adjoining pub next door being closed, but to no fault of the hotel. Instant porridge and pastries were provided in the rooms. Better pillows would be good as the ones provided did give much support.
Immaculately clean. Fab shower. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped room. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay there again.
