The late check in and early check out meant the time in the accommodation was quite short for a 1 night stay

The shower was boiling hot and did not let us make it cooler, the head also didn’t stay up when we put it on. This was very annoying. Also the light outside didn’t work, so when we tried to go in the hot tub it was pitch black. We found it hard to get in contact with the staff every time we called it wouldn’t go through and wouldn’t let us leave a message, even via chat we would not get a response. We also had to re wash the dishes before use as they were dirty.

We loved the lodge, it was nice and cosy just what we wanted.

Although overall the property was clean, we found what appears to have been makeup stains on one of the bed sheets on one of the single beds. ( we had not used them). When deciding between two lodges we chose this lodge as it states that there is a bath within the description. We chose this lodge as we have a young baby so we chose this lodge due to it having the bath for our baby to use. However there was no bath so I feel there is some false advertising on the site.

The location was perfect for visiting family and friends in the york city centre. Very family friendly & the food we had delivered was lovely. Overall the stay was comfortable, peaceful & we would definitely return again.

The lodge was really lovely and clean. Very easy to find on the site. We had a query about the heat in the hot tub but that was sorted by reception very quickly. Everyone on site was friendly. We had delicious food from JJ's. Great holiday! 😊

As the lodge is quite far out, it would be ideal for there to be a little convenient store onsite.

I would suggest changing the beds in the second room, the beds are very small understandably due to space but also uncomfortable slightly.

we couldn’t use the shower whilst there as the head had been secured with a bobble and the water just trickled out. (not a huge deal for us but would be for some!)

Shower ran hot but probably a problem with us rather than the lodge 😂 No doubt someone would've dealt with it if we asked.

Loved the hot tub and the peaceful surroundings! I also liked that this lodge was very near the park entrance/exit so didn't have to cruise around for ages when getting to it each time we left and came back.

only thing that could of been different was the cleanliness of the hot tub, seemed to have a lot of dirt in the bottom.

Bin lid was broke as we walked in as it was an automatic lid, so we didn’t use the bin to avoid further damage, just used a plastic bag. Bed was 6/10 comfortable. Couldn’t find how to turn on the radiator on for a while and there was no instructions for anything. Not much cupboard space if you’re wanting to bring shopping. Bit expensive.

Good location, very quiet, the hot tub was amazing. Was very clean on arrival. Lots of fridge and freezer space. JJ’s delivery was amazing.

bit out the way of everything and no links into York without spending a lot for taxis and the water wasn’t very warm and couldn’t turn the shower to make it warmer

there was no cleaning equipment such as hoover or long brush so it was hard to keep it tidy for a long stay as we stayed for nearly a week. there was no control on the hottub temperature and it will drop very easily and hard to keep warm. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the shower was broken but nobody came to fix it as we had to change the temperature by changing it on the boiler. overall the stay was very pleasant and had a great relaxed time just few things could of been improved.

the property was in a nice location not far from York and had very nice relaxing time.
