When you consider its a very cheap hotel, it would be wrong to say anything you didn't like.

Very cheap and reflected in the room/decor, but where else could you stay for the same price as a meal at wetherspoons. New guy on reception was helpful and polite.

Hotel had just been taken over by new tenants, so was Not ready for customers, but new people were happy to welcome us. First room we were in was too small and couldn’t get in shower sink was right in the way. Also all rooms was too warm, couldn’t open windows for air.

This hotel was perfectly placed close to town and beach local shops. Staff were helpful & polite.

There are no photos of the rooms without sea views which can be deceiving. If we hadn’t switched rooms we would have looked at finding somewhere else to stay.

After getting a not great room, missing some of the facilities the gentleman working in the evening was very accommodating in helping us switch rooms. It was a busy time when we checked in & he was very helpful.

The hotel interior was poor and needed intense decorating. Some areas had some refurbishing but our room was tatty.

Being located right on the sea front and grand old Victorian buildings. The weather helped as well. A very quiet part of town hardly any hustle or bustle. The shower was brilliant! Bed comfortable.

There was no covering for the shower area and the toilet was stained beyond being cleanable. My main complaint was the lack of a hairdryer. I always check to see a hairdryer is included before I make a booking. There was not one in the room . When we asked for one at the front desk we discovered there were only 2 available for the entire hotel. The girl at the desk made every effort to check with the maids to see if one had been turned in in the morning to no avail.

Location was great. The towels were nice and fluffy and the bed was comfortable.

Not very organised very layed back and no attention to detail.the breakfast was help your self but on the week day of our stay staff came out with a full english and didnt ask ist of we wanted what he had on the plate ist.ok he was polite.and also white toast came out to everyone and no one asked the people if they wanted white or brown you had to ask for it.they did sort our issues out though as our tv in the ist room was broken.the ist room hole in bathroom wall no tiles just paint and need of updating and paint this hotel as it is a bit run down.lift dont work and many stairs to climb.

The seaview and location.they gave us a option to move room or new tv as tv was broken,we choose another seaview room on above floor to that one. which was so much better than the ist room we had plus bigger tv and bigger windows for seaview.had no hairdryer in that room but everythong else was a improvement to last room and bigger tv that worked

I did not receive the room I booked, I was not compensated for the difference in the price of the room I had to accept. There was insufficient WiFi signal in the room I occupied. I had to find channels on the TV myself , the remote control had no batteries.

Hotel needs a makeover now. Rooms were dated but clean. Breakfast was non existent. Hotel is dated . I know it has just been bought but it has a long way to go to even be a 3 star.

Near the sea on the seafront staff we're very nice. Quiet in the hotel

Rather run-down, TV didn't work, radiators jammed on extra hot, no parking (on street parking: took a while to find a spot), weird stain in shower.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful seafront location. Option of ground floor room.

The other room was terrible... dirty carpet and ceiling, the windows were very drafty, and the heating was very weak.. It was very cold there and we asked for an extra blanket.. Breakfast was very poor... no coffee machine..

We booked 2 rooms. One room was fine, good condition, warm and comfortable...Nice sea view...staff very friendly. Possibility to bring a dog.

I really enjoyed the fact the hotel was close to sea front beautiful view, within walking distance to many different shops, restaurants and the town centre. Very helpful, informative and friendly staff members that assisted our group with cabs services to commute to different areas, and recommendations to places to go out to enjoy a night on the town. Great laid for money too.

The food wasn’t that great and there wasn’t much option to choose from the bar, there were dripping stains on the walls and in the bathroom. There was also no hairdryer in the room like it said on the website.

Very nice staff, gorgeous views, there was a lot to do and we had no troubles while staying here.

My shower had no door on it, so when using it left lots of water on floor when getting in and out which is is a slip hazard. Health and safety hazard Toliet flush was broken. I did report both while staying. No bar which was a shame. But understand still getting licence as not long took over. No house keeping in your room while staying I understanding not entering the room. But I stayed for a week and keep asking for toliet roll, tea bags and milk got very trying in the end. 1 toliet roll does last a week. You need to rethink this a bit. Aslo.i had to empty my own bins because of no house keeping entering the room during the week. I don't mind but I should not have to while i am on my holiday. Maybe you could have a system where bins could be place outside the door to be changed. Breakfast the bacon needed cooking a longer and so does the toast toast needs to brown colour on both side.

The staff where really nice and friendly and could no more for you. Nothing was a hassle for them.
