The Lakehouse is in a perfect private location, comfortable, spacious with amazing views in the rural countryside. The Richard owner was very welcoming and very professional, Richard is available if you need him but goes intrude on your privacy. The Lakehouse was very well equipped with everything you need. A good wifi also provided. The hot tub is also an added bonus. A beautiful location to relax and recharge.

Wow, just wow. You're very own secluded lakehouse, what isn't to love. We had an absolutely amazing time. Made use of the pizza oven, hot tub, firepit and lake. Richard was an amazing host, showed us around and was on hand if needed. I'm not a gin drinker but the complimentary bottle of home made gin was lovely and such a nice touch. We had a relaxing couple of nights and honestly didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in you're beautiful home.

We didn't dislike anything.

We loved absolutely everything about the place! The lakehouse is situated away from the main buildings on the grounds and has lots of privacy. The location is secluded, peaceful and absolutely stunning. Wouldn't change a thing. Richard is a wonderful host who met us on arrival to provide the key and showed us around the place. The accommodation had everything we needed in spades, and we loved using the pizza oven, BBQ and the hot tub. We had planned a walk on Dartmoor but in the end enjoyed the place so much we just relaxed next to the lake and enjoyed the amenities. We'll definitely be back again next year for a second visit. Thank you so much Richard for a wonderful experience.

More cooking equipment would be great, for the bbq, some bowls, and cooking utensils like a wooden spoon. We managed fine with what was available.

Lodge has everything you meed, swimming in lake was great, its spring water, so totally clean and safe, short walk around the lake early in the morning was so peaceful and full of wildlife, host was. very helpful and friendly, wood fired hot tub is fantastic. Bed comfy and room nicely decorated. Cant fault this very quiet, clean and unique property.

What a fantastic place it is. The perfect place to relax and switch off from work. The dog also loved it and had fun. The hot tub and boat were very nice additions to make the stay even better!

What a gorgeous house in an idyllic and completely private spot with beautiful lake. The house is thoughtfully furnished with everything you need including a very well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. We even arrived to a gift of homade gin and ready hot tub. Richard checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. He was extremely lovely and pleasant; he always make sure to communicate with you if you need any help during your stay. Highly recommended.

Wow what an incredible place! We loved watching the nature on the lake each day. Even saw a kingfisher! Richard was very accommodating and always happy to get the fires going whilst we were out, and give us pointers for where to go in the local area

Everything was perfect. Nothing at all not to like.

The location of the Lakehouse is truly wonderful. You really are in your own spectacular little piece of Devon and with the lake, the countryside and the comfort of the house itself makes for a complete escape from the outside world. Richard and his son Rocky could not do enough for us. They ensured the wood fired hot tub was always to a perfect temperature, they took the time to drive and collect us from the local pub and we were treated to a bottle of Richard’s homemade gin which was exceptional. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and we had a fantastic stay.
