The location was stunning and the attention to detail within the property was amazing. The sheep were the stars of the show sitting by the fire pit watching the sun go down was perfect. Will definitely be coming back!

What an incredible find! Such a beautiful location, perfect for your morning cuppa and a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset. Everything you could need is provided, and the place was spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable too! The resident sheep are delightful too and welcome a good head and back scratch. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A very cosy, idillic location to get away from the 21st century and London, only let down, in a very small part by Storm Kathleen. However sitting in the warmth of the cabin, with the view of the Devon hills, and watching the storm pass through was epic to watch. The cabin is a wonderful place to stay with everything you need. Want to go back in the summer months to enjoy having the doors open, to sit on the decking with a very cold glass of wine and enjoy a sunset .

The view was absolutely beautiful, loved waking up to it and having coffee outside. Loved the Very friendly sheep. I slept in the bed downstairs and found it very comfortable.

We wouldn't change a thing - just wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a splendid stay at the Kuhvee! So many beautiful little touches in the cabin and a very warm welcome. We brought our house rabbit too - she enjoyed her stay as well as the carrot that had been left for her! We too enjoyed the goodies left for us! The cabin is homely, snug and perfect for a romantic retreat. Stunning decor, well designed and thought through - we didn't want to leave! Beautiful views, amazing wildlife - we even had a pheasant at the window! So quiet at night with a gorgeous starry sky stretching above us. Superbly located for Exeter - a 5-10 minute drive in or 50 minutes walk, some lovely local pubs nearby and plenty of charming walks. Excellent facilities, it had everything we needed. We were so impressed and are already planning a next visit!

Stunning location with a very well set up little cabin. It was well decorated with thoughtful details. The cozy cabin had everything we needed. The views were absolutely amazing and loved having their 3 cute sheep wondering about their paddock right in front of the cabin. Hosts were friendly and professional. We're definitely coming back here and would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely loved it here. We had everything we needed, cooked for ourselves and were super warm even though it was January. We loved the Kuhvee and our hosts were amazing - they dropped the keys, then left us alone but were happy to give recommendations and have a chat when we were leaving. Couldn't have asked for kinder people. The cabin itself has been kitted out to a really high spec. Everything is very new, but also has a cosy vibes that's giving grand designs / tiny house. The log fire, blanket and Netflix combo was exactly what we needed for a couple of nights of post-Christmas madness chilling. WiFi was much stronger than I expected, as was the shower pressure! Also had big cuddles with the three on-site sheep.

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin was very clean and tidy, and the views were stunning sat out on the decking, looking out over the valley. Was greeted by Anna, a very helpful brillant host. We would definitely stay here again.

the kuhvee is a hidden gem for nature lovers, standing in its own grounds overlooking the valley and the tree canopy you can see for miles, the sun sets as you sit out having a cool drink which is perfect, the property is of exceptional standard very clean and wants for nothing, the hosts James and Anna were fantastic so friendly and nothing they wouldn’t do for you, Anna laid on a lovely welcome hamper which was appreciated, we hope to book again next year, once again thank you for your hospitality, John and Pam

We found out about pet charges morning of stay. £40 is high for two nights for a chihuahua but when we actually just added this to the cost of the place, it wasn’t so bad because the place was so reasonably priced. Also the free things given was a nice touch and made us feel less annoyed about this. I think doing it like a deposit may be better and more fair. (I’ve stayed a lot of places with my dog over the last 10 years and this was on the upper end of costs for him).

Lovely little place. Really modern, clean, cute basket of goods when we got there which was fab after a long drive. Hosts were friendly - gave us coal for the bbq. Just a great stay.

Nothing to dislike, amazing stay!

Couldn’t of wished for anything more! The accommodation was fantastic, had everything you would need and more. Down to the little touches of a Christmas card and gift, it was very thoughtful and Anna and James went the extra mile! I will definitely be returning.
