Nothing to mention. It was a 'cool' stay. I would return in back in the area and will certainly recommend to friends and family.

Breakfast very good. Evening meal very nice and tasty...salmon cooked wonderfully althoughI did feel there was heavy use of salt on the potato section of my meal. But overall, the meal and service was fine.

I don't drink instant coffee but there was plenty of good tea.

Very large and comfortable room overlooking the street. Good bathroom. Reasonable internet connection. Excellent TV. Enjoyable dinner and breakfast. Easy parking and access to the town centre.

Possibly not having the room serviced daily - not done automatically - we had to ask. Bathroom was ok but a bit "tired" and we had a leaky roof after one particularly heavy rain shower. Water heated by a combi-boiler meant it ran cold for quite a while before getting warm (very wasteful of water!). Bar beneath us could be quite noisy with the locals popping in for a pint or ten, but we got to know them so it wasn't a real problem.

Large spacious room (No. 1) with seating area, desk and wardrobe. Large very comfortable bed. View over road junction (quite quiet) and the church grounds - very attractive. Central location so ideal for wandering around shops, museum and the waterfront. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and greeted us like old friends after a couple of days. Breakfasts were excellent and the evening meals superb. We were sad to leave after 7 days!

I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

Breakfast was included in our stay. We also ate dinner on one occasion which was lovely. All freshly prepared and fresh vegetables. All food was cooked when ordered and was lovely. Our room comprises of a bedroom area, sitting area with a desk if required for work, a lovely shower room, tea/coffee facility, fridge, complimentary water and TVs in both areas. All was exceptionally clean.

We wish we could have stayed longer!!

the breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day - great with a ravenous teenage boy!! The room was lovely, comfortable and spacious, the bed was super comfy - great as I often struggle because of my back issues, I slept like a top! Fabulous meal in the restaurant, all the staff were really lovely for our whole stay, felt really comfortable and welcomed.

"Hotel is a 30 min walk to the town centre but this wasn't really an issue as they serve evening meals."

I booked this on behalf of a colleague and this is what she said. "Rooms were clean and spacious and had everything you would need. The couple that owned the hotel were both lovely and good hosts. Meals were good and reasonably priced, breakfast was good too."

The room was a bit too big and long for me as it was only me staying. The bathroom was a little cold, and the window area there was not so attractive. It was a bit cold in the room but it soon heated up and there were two heaters. Also, it was a cold snap in February. There were no biscuits in the room but plenty of tea and coffee.

The building is painted a lovely blue colour. My room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfy, and the room had a large TV on the wall. There was a good view from the window and being in the centre of the town it was not too noisy at night. Very good cooked breakfast. No evening meals served as it was winter time and was on a Thursday, but I got some good recommendations. The staff were friendly.

Not a big issue but the shower pressure was on the weak side and hot water was never fully hot. Still managed a decent shower!

Lovely little hotel in the pretty town. Had everything you would need for a little getaway. Room was huge with comfy bed and pillows, a nice sitting area, and I loved the windows with a view of the town center. Bathroom was spacious and equipped with a bath and movable shower head. We liked the little pub downstairs, which was filled with colourful locals during our stay! Good selection of ales and cider on taps! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. They made all the effort to make mine spicy! Breakfast was really good and we had it in the Snug, which is a great space! Everyone, especially Nish and Lisa, was really nice and friendly!

The price for myself and 2 sisters to share the family room was amazing value and included a full Scottish breakfast. Again, excellent value was the spacious, nicely heated bedroom with 2 double beds, good quality mattress' and bed linen, roomy private bathroom with shower and really nice toileteries. There was tea/coffee and biscuits available. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful.
