The double bed we were in room 10 is not viable for an average couple to sleep comfortably as its more like 3/4 bed rather than a double

due to it being closed until day we arrived no holiday / Christmasy atmosphere , no ice available behind bar which was very disappointing, offered breakfast and sounded lovely however when we went downstairs 9 o clock it was empty and no sign of staff in kitchen etc…Would stay again however felt it was too quiet for us and would have liked a bit mor ambience…Everything else was great, shame that it lacked any ambience…

Could've done with tea making facilities in room., but bottled water was provided foc.

Stayed a couple of years ago so knew what to expect. As hotels go, does everything you need it to. Clean and tidy, pleasant staff and a well stocked little bar for a night cap. Located a couple of roads behind the Tower so central for everything. Cheap and cheerful.

£5 a pint a bit steep and the Burgers very overhyped and pricey, Definitely not worth the money A bit poor the bar is only open after 2pm so if you arrive before you can forget about sitting and waiting inside to have a drink.

The hotel has brilliant facilities downstairs such as a burger diner, pool table, arcade machines and a coffee machine etc. The bar also has over 40 gins (winner!) All the staff were really friendly, especially Richard who showed us around and Martin who sat chatting to us late in the evening! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The room was decorated to a good standard and was very cosy and quiet. I liked the fact there’s a 1am curfew which stops being woken up by other people. Would definitely stay here again!

Richard was an exceptional host on our first day, nothing was too much. Martin was great through out our stay, very helpful. Given it is hospitality I did think Martin's attire needed attention.

Disappointingly our room hadn’t been cleaned and the bedding hadn’t been changed from the previous occupant. It looked fine when we walked in as the bed had been made but upon pulling the duvet back to get in it, there were make up stains clearly visible and hairs in the bed! It was only then when we looked round the room properly we saw bits all over floor so it hadn’t been vacuumed either. Complained to Martin who was very apologetic and came up immediately to strip all the beds and put fresh ones on and told us the owner had dismissed the staff member who was on duty. He gave us complimentary drinks in the bar but Gutted really as other reviews commented how clean it was and indeed the rest of the hotel was good. we asked for our room to be cleaned the next day and when we got back in that night it still hadn’t been touched. I was going to ask for the hoover to do it myself the 3rd day of our stay but by chance saw housekeeping and asked him to do it which he finally did. Such a shame this happened as everything else was good.

excellent location, Martin (front of house) was friendly and helpful, drinks in the bar were very reasonable. Bedroom was warm and overall good value for money.

The rooms are small but this is reflected in the price, a lot of menu items weren’t available when we ordered breakfast. Unfortunately some of the other holiday goers were quite noisy when departing early in the morning but nothing the host can do about that really.

Great location, not too close or too far. easy access to multiple car parks. Great vale for money, very family friendly. Staff were great, felt really comfortable here.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room ( although available from machine down stairs at an additional cost) Family room was very small but we didn’t spent much time in it as out until late. Shower was tiny and let’s say for the bigger person may struggle to shower.

The staff upon arrival were very friendly and helpful. The facilities in the hotel were excellent. Food, drinks ( and plenty to choose from ) drinks at the bar very cheap, we’re all available. Lots to keep the kids entertained ( some of which were an additional cost ) absolutely perfect location the all the pubs, bars,restaurants, And all attractions. Minutes walk to them all.

On our second night there, a family were staying above us and they were making a huge amount of noise till the early hours and then from 6am the next day (banging up and down the corridors and shouting at each other in their room and in the corridors outside our door). I was really disappointed that the staff in the hotel did nothing to make them be quieter, as am sure they would have heard them too. Especially since there was a notice in the halfway asking people to be considerate to other's in regards to noise. Our stay would've been great if they had been dealt with.
