I had a great nights sleep, I was there for 2 nights, Friday Saturday. The staff were very friendly, very accomadating to my food needs, which the owner did tell me in 20 something years he never had been asked to provide breakfast how I requested it, but did willingly. Great location, Wilmslow main shops a short walk away, with a large park green space with a river, you can easily go for a long walk in a lovely area. Although located on a roundabout there was very little noise to distrub a good nights sleep, very good curtains that blacked out the village light very well, if you wanted an early night's sleep, for a long day ahead, I was there for a wedding locally. What I liked most was everything worked as it should in the room, the bed was excellent for a good night's sleep. I've payed a lot more and had many issues at other hotels/guest houses from beds to bathroom problems with unsatisfactory results. I would highly recommend this

The room was on the small side for a twin. No real space for luggage.

Very welcoming, easy check-in process at the bar. Friendly staff, convenient location with car park. The room was nicely furnished. Plenty of hot water! Amazing breakfast which we paid extra for - tasty, hot & worth the money.

It’s a very welcoming, relaxed and friendly place, no airs and graces, and the manager clearly takes great pride in his job, making sure his guests are well looked after.

It isn't really that I didn't like it, but I'm accustomed to a shower that runs off my boiler, and the electric shower seemed a bit weedy by comparison. I'm probably just spoilt ...

Convenient location. Friendly pub. Nice Thai restaurant co-located. Good value for money and better that many of the airport hotels I’ve tried. Locals do advise that when live music is played in the pub it can be noisy in the bedrooms above.

Because the room is directly above the bar, it did get a bit noisy after 10pm. That didn't bother me at all, but it might bother somebody travelling with a child, or somebody who needs quiet accommodation (there are two single beds in the room).

The staff are lovely, helpful, welcoming and courteous. Everything was ready when I arrived; the room was exactly as described and value for money was, I think, very good. There was a bath (not just a shower) in the private bathroom, which was a real plus considering the fact that it was a small room (but described as such, that was expected). Also, the room had two windows facing in different directions, which was lovely.
