United KingdomThe quality of the rooms at the Imperial falls significantly short of the high standards set by the restaurant and the staff themselves. - The owners need to be more honest about what constitutes a sea view... yes, we could see the sea from our balcony (if we looked left), but the view straight ahead was of the restaurant roof. You will be able to fool a customer once with the phrase “Sea View” but how do you think they will feel the second they realise things are not as they had imagined :o( - The only furniture in our room that we could sit on was the bed…. There was no chair. - There was a distinct lack of flat surfaces to put things on in the room.. just the bedside cabinets. There is no table and the top of the chest of drawers was taken up by the kettle and hot drinks station. - TV was too small for the size of the room (a common short coming in many hotels) - The room constantly smelled damp…. Possibly related to the fact that the shower screen wasn’t completely watertight. - The shower ran off of the mixer taps in the bath (slip hazard) - The hot water pressure was insufficient…. The only way to have a shower with anything approaching decent water pressure was to have it freezing cold. A comfortably warm to slightly hot shower could only be achieved at a very low pressure :o( - The sink was extremely slow to drain and was on the verge of being completely blocked. This made it very difficult to do some basic things that involved a running tap (cleaning teeth and shaving). - Given the age and status of the furniture and fittings in the bathroom, it seemed to us that the hotel had decided that a fresh coat of paint and (possibly) a re-tile of the bathroom would make everything like new again suggestion… 1. Fix the water pressure, drainage and damp issues. 2. Replace the bath with a large walk-in shower. 3. Replace the sink, WC and bathroom cabinet. 4. Put a table or small desk in the room with a comfortable chair. 4. Put in a larger TV!
Location: Excellent Restaurant: Superb Staff presentation, attitudes and work ethic: Excellent Amount of storage space for clothing in the room: very good. Heating in the room: Good and controllable. Hot water: always available on demand BUT… (see comments re: water pressure below).

AustriaRoom # 12 was nice and spacious, but located next to the kitchen fan, so we had the smell inside the room. Luckily we went to bed after the kitchen had closed, so the noise from the fan was not a problem for us.
The location by the seaside is perfect, the public bus service literally at the doorstep is pretty much on time and quite efficient. Both breakfasts and dinners were delicious and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

The setting is one of the best and most peaceful on the island. I had long wanted to stay here and was not disappointed. The staff were all charming and helpful. The room was exactly as described, with a balcony and fantastic view over Rocquaine and a powerful shower. Dinner was delicious (crab and cod fishcakes) and the full English breakfast one of the best I have ever had. Nice vibe on the terrace. I paid about £115 b&b which is excellent value. You can pay double that elsewhere on the island to stay in a dump.

United KingdomThere was leak in the ceiling in the bathroom (it was a very rainy few days) and we couldn't turn the radiator off or down - but we did forget to tell the hotel this so I'm sure they would have sorted it. Check out is at 10am which feels quite early as breakfast runs to half 9.
Room was lovely and spacious, incredible views of the ocean! The breakfast was delicious and lots of options, even for a veggie. We didn't use public transport but could see that there were regular buses, and parking was easy. Staff were all lovely and friendly.

I suggest they be moved away and that the illumination of the carpark is improved
