I didn’t realise it was on such a big campsite

My partner is 6ft7 (202cm) and is often uncomfortable glamping but this was really spacious and roomy and well laid out! Amenities were great, bed was comfy, great views of stars and ideal location.

Only downsides were no hob, and the fridge was so noisy it kept us awake. Didn't see the cafe or the chip shop open. Maybe end of season and not enough people there.

Love the Pod. Our second stay. Spotlessly clean. The location in the heart of the countryside is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful.

Location was fab for us as we prefer ullswater however if wanting to go into Windermere it’s about 40 minute drive, so not to far loads of walks and the accommodation was fab so cosy, very clean and perfect for what we wanted.

The pod was beautiful. The site was so peaceful. All you could hear was birds, the occasional sheep and acorns dropping on the roof every now and again. Thd perfect place to relax and de stress.

No stove to cook simple food. the property is facing a big tree. a bit expensive for 3 nights for two people.

It’s cosy, noise-proof. Excellent shower.

Nothing. It is located on the holiday ground with a playground near by but quiet at night. Noise didn’t bother us.

Everything you need in a compact and well laid out space. The pod was very clean and comfy. The holiday grounds where lovely, nice outdoor terrace space with a bbq nook. Parking right outside the pod too

The staff were very friendly and helpful, offered suggestions of tourist attractions and places to visit. We had a trip of the electrics in our stay and rang the holiday park emergency line as it was after hours and they were very responsive and fixed the problem 2 minutes after calling!

the only thing I would suggest is some sort of shelf close to the bed. I personally wear glasses and found it difficult at night due to having to find my glasses on the kitchen side in order to use the facilities.

It was such a lovely place to stay for a few days, amazing location and amazing get away!! The bed was so comfy it definitely allowed for a great night sleep after a full day of hiking.

Very minor detail, but a coat hook or two would be a useful addition

Cosy, clean, cute little pod with everything you need for a mini break or weekend away. Very comfortable, great location for exploring the Lake District. Staff were friendly though I didn’t need to bother them much.

Nice and cosy. You’ll really feel that you are in one with nature. Close to Ullswater Lake which is very pretty and exceptional view.

For the price we paid, it would've been nice for some complimentary tea and coffee facilities. The TV didn't work, it said no signal and the cable wouldn't stay in the back, although we would only really have watched it for an hour or so after the hike so it was no great loss, and we didn't take this up with any staff due to the late hour so I am sure they would've helped us resolve this if we had asked. These are only minor issues in an overall great stay.

The location was spot on - we stayed here to take part in the Macmillan Mighty Hike and it was perfect. Great location, close to some lovely little places. The pod itself was immaculately clean, and the bed was SO comfy. The shower was great, good pressure and good temp. Kitchen facilities are good too. The holiday park were very accommodating of our late arrival (9.30pm) and left the key at the bar for us - the barman was very friendly and approachable and gave us all the info we needed. A very lovely little accommodation, would stay again.

I would have liked wifi without having to go to the cafe and a decent phone signal but I can see how not having these would be a bonus for people who want to get away entirely.

We stayed in May and was cold sometimes at night so I can imagine that this place would get quite cold in winter. They had a kettle and mugs but we forgot tea and milk so some complimentary tea and milk would have gone quite a long way.

Really nice middle ground between camping and a hotel. Really modern and unique experience to stay in the pod, lovely outdoor area with lots of nature around you and very quiet. Great location for Ullswater as it’s a short drive away. Kitchen facilities including fridge to bring snacks and drinks.

Great facilities. If you’re not a camper like me, this is the perfect compromise It’s brand new and immaculate so it will be interesting if it stays in such great condition.

The pod was so clean and comfortable- location was superb if you have a car. Secluded and quiet it was lovely waking up to hear the birds singing! Would definitely come back to stay here.
