Great clean rooms, spacious bathroom that was cleaned daily. Good pub just downstairs with friendly and helpful staff, an array of games and a nice outdoor space made the stay very enjoyable. If you’re new to the area the staff are helpful with recommendations of where to see and answer any ad hoc questions with enthusiasm. All round great stay

The only thing I would suggest changing is the meagre amount of water in the teapot - especially when more was specifically requested! But that was the only minor inconvenience in the whole stay.

From the initial phone call to the inevitable farewell, the staff were lovely, and welcoming to us, our dog, and our day guests over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was absolutely superb, and the location was spot on.

It was in a lovely location. Everything was clean and beautiful toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Would have loved to try the restaurant there but they close early on a Sunday. Overall it was a lovely place to stay in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy, quiet, clean and the bed was confortable. There was complementary water, tea and coffee. The parking space was great. We had the full breakfast that was mouthwatering.

The only tiny complaint was that the heating was too hot, and there was no way to turn this down in the room.

The stay was lovely, the room was big, clean and all the decor was very tasteful. The food in the evening was exceptional!

The staff were amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fabulous room. We enjoyed our stay and only wish it had been for more than one night. The pub was so comfortable. We had dinner in the pub and it was delicious! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Every aspect of the restaurant and rooms was impeccable! Absolutely gorgeous decor, amazing basque influenced food and wine, and such a comfortable bed and room. This is the kind of place you should go out of your way to stay at!

We would have had an evening meal there but felt that it was more bistro than what we wanted.

My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay the Harcourt Arms. It is a beautiful place and we were made welcome and everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the fact that in the evenings we could sit in the bar area and play one of their many games that they had which was a nice touch rather than staying in your room watching television. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean. we certainly couldn't fault it.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! very friendly and accommodating staff and service, beautiful relaxing open fire to have our morning coffee with. The room was so spacious and so comfortable in every way, it felt so private that it didn't feel like a hotel, it felt like I was at home, simply lovely and all the bathroom was lovely, the coffee and tea station in the room was lovely and reaaally appreciated that the coffee pods were biodegrable and environmentally friendly. My partner and I are 100% returning here and have recommended it to everyone!

It wasn’t your fault, it was New Year’s Eve and the music did play until about 2.30am! But we half expected it, we were just a little tired the next day! But wouldn’t stop us coming back.

It was relaxing and welcoming. The room was stunning, really done lovely.

Our overall stay was excellent, All the staff were attentive, professional, courtesy and most importantly welcoming. The room (Painswick) was beautiful furnishing with a good size shower room with lovely toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities were also provided. The sitting downstairs/Bar/Restaurant area which were welcoming with big beautiful wood burners, keeping the areas lovely and cosy. The Christmas decorations were tastefully done with a beautiful Christmas tree next to a lovely sitting are. Food was also a winner from our evening meals to Breakfast. We would highly recommend The Harcourt Arms.
