I was surprised to learn that parking was an additional cost as this was not clear when booking.

The staff were very pleasant and the room was comfortable...the location perfect. Breakfast was good too. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Just one thing. I don’t like that they charge £8 per day for parking even when you can’t check in until 3pm and in the summer they can’t guarantee a space even when you pay !! I know parking is difficult everywhere but shouldn’t charge if not guaranteed.

Coffee machine coffee wasn't great, had to top up cuppaccino with an expresso to make it stronger. Not sure why we had to pay £8 to park in the hotel carpark- surely this should be included in the price of the accommodation ?

The room was a little bit bland and a touch shabby - could do with a little bit of TLC and a bit of colour/interest to break up the magnolia and white. The armchair arms were greyed from touch and the wiring for the electronic riser function was all frayed (so of course we didn't use it). The edge trim was peeling on a couple of pieces of wooden furniture, one of the bedside lights was chipped, the woodwork around the edges of the door / walls had big chips in the paint. It wasn't terrible - it was just showing a lot of signs of use. Also didn't like having an emergency call for assistance button right behind the pillows as worried about accidentally setting this off in the night. The bathroom was an accessible wet room layout but the sink was very small so hard to wash hands/face without getthing the floor wet, and the toilet had no lid. The walk from the rear car park to the reception didn't have a path the whole way so you have to walk on the grass - not great in winter when its wet and muddy.

This hotel was a good price in a very convenient location for central Bournemouth for an overnight stay. The room we had was very spacious, and it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient and parking on site is a bonus (albeit another £8 to pay). The hotel was quiet and we were undisturbed during our short stay. It was fine for an overnight but I'm not sure I'd stay for longer.

Not the best view from our room window because we were looking onto tatty fire escape stairs. Despite this our room was perfectly acceptable and comfortable.

The staff were lovely and having a 24 bar was great as we arrived late and our friend could meet us for drinks. I travel a lot and me and Partner thought it was relaxing will stay again when In Bournemouth. My partner was working from home in our room and for our 4 nights we had a happy stay.

Break fast was a good choice but cold. It was not worth the £12 each for this reason. Room was really nice and hot. A nice walk into the town centre.

Better bed less noise at night from adjoining rooms.

Breakfast was ok, not great but adequate. The bed was not very comfy and dipped in the middle, could hear the room next doors TV and it sounded like a nightclub outside the property at the back. Staff were nice and helpful.

Water pressure in bathroom taps was so great the basin swamped me each time. But no problem really.

Good location albeit not directly facing the sea , but very convenient for all places of interest . Nice comfortable lounges and a large conservatory adjacent to a large garden ( as was the dining room). Double room was comfortable enough with simple furnishings , and the whole place had a homely feel to it . Esp good they don’t allow Hen/Stag Parties !

The parking log in didn’t accept my registration number when I checked in (it worked in the morning), so I was worried I would get a £100 fine. I also thought parking came with the booking and was surprised that it was £8 extra.

Walking back to the hotel at night. Felt a little unsafe walking alone. It would be good if the roads near the hotel were lit up more.

I visited Bournemouth to primarily go to the beach. The beach is just a few mins walk away.
