Comfortable beds and tastefully decorated room. Great location within walking distance to beach and town. Great menu in the restaurant and lots of choice for breakfast, like that all locally sourced produce. Good bar area.

The only downside I guess at this time of year is the Green House is a very popular Wedding Venue. To be fair we didn’t experience noise or disruption, but the hotel isn’t really “geared” to do both individual guests and weddings. The weekend breakfast was closed early with no prior warning due to a Wedding and we were informed like “well you should realise that”! It was a niggle, experienced before but it is still one of the best places to stay in the area.

Great comfortable rooms, always very clean, great staff, free parking and very central to everything, but tucked away in a quiet street, minutes to the beach front.

See complaint above. Unfortunately we have never enjoyed the evening meals here. Breakfast has a continental choice which was very welcome as hot breakfast was not to our liking.

We've been to this hotel quite a few times, beds are very comfortable. Our complaint is wardrobe space, the wardrobe itself holds a safe, a shelving unit which held a otea tray, a basket for hair dryer and a suitcase stand so hardly any room for quests clothes especially when staying for a week which we have always done. Also, only two plug sockets underneath under the bedside tables. But a phone call to reception later we received 2 extension cords and a portable clothes rail.

Unwrapped biscuits in the jar. How long had they been there? Odour in water dispenser in coffee maker put us off using it

The free standing bath in the room was a nice touch but the bathtub itself looked tired and chipped.

Noise from room above, can hear people moving about, doors etc. Not a big deal. Shower head needs fixing, but again, we managed OK. Barman incomprehensible, sorry. Needs to talk more slowly and distinctly. But he can make a mean G&T :)

Delighted with upgrade. Comfortable room in quiet though central location. Onsite free parking. Easy walk to beach, plenty of eateries, cafés and things to do. Top notch restaurant onsite.

The only thing I would mention ....... I thought the sausage in my Full English Breakfast was tasteless - but that is my opinion only. And I ended up leaving two thirds of it. Sorry.

How big and airy our room and bathroom was. We were upgraded as a nice surprise. And the young waitress that served us our breakfast was absolutely lovely, so sweet and attentive.

Location brilliant. Staff very welcoming and excellent service and response. Had lunch in the restaurant and it was excellent and great menu. Roberto looked after us and is a credit to this hotel. Yummy breakfast great choice of options. Bed to die for and gorgeous bathroom and facilities. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I absolutely did not like the shower cubicle in open view of the room. I cannot understand why it wasnt private. I would not book again if it meant the same again.

I felt the restaurant was a little over priced but probably to be expected with the cost of ingredients in the current climate. The selection was good for lunch and breakfast and afternoon tea seemed popular.

The location and access were great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were accommodated late for lunch which was excellent. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Consumables such as coffee and shampoo were of a high standard.
