We did have to pay an additional £20 for our dog that was not mentioned on booking.com at the property. We had to wait quite a while for our food,but he was short staffed and did give us some money back and very apologetic and food was good so all was good in end .

It was a quirky place to stay , the owner was a lovely man and very chatty and friendly. We had a dog friendly room which literally had a little dog room with a bed and bowl for your 4 legged friend! There is plenty of fields to walk them too. Food was good.

We were the only ones in the restaurant, a little bit restricted restaurant, probably due to lack of customers. Low stocked bar with not to great a choice.

Nice quiet place, used for an overnight stay on eay to an early flight the following morning. Staff (1 guy) appeared to be doing everything. Very pleasant and helpful

Please repair shower in room 12 for the next guest. Apparently you knew the shower had issues even before checking me in, why do I say so? The receptionist that morning told me the issue even before stepping into the room when I complained. That would have saved me the inconvenience of having to use another room that morning only to shower

Well was cold has wasnt aware we needed to turn radiators on also bathroom was up a flight a rickety stairs the shower didnt work .so gave up then once I turned tap on sink on the shower started to work very weird

The bathroom in the honeymoon suite was abit cold as the radiator wasn’t working, so was a bit chilly if you nipped up in the night, but it was fine. We did let them know upon check out.

The owner is very friendly. The food is great. And it’s just a lovely getaway.

To be honest I couldn't fault the place. A beer lover wouldn't like the fact there's no draft there, but honestly it didn't bother me. For the price I paid I'm quite happy.

Easy parking, quick check in, spotless room, set back from the road so little noise. My evening meal was good, the staff member Deano was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine.

We had a lovely sized room with a bathroom on a different floor as well which was really cool, although because of the time of year it meant that naturally some parts of the room was nice and warm and others were quite cold. This is honestly more an observation rather than a criticism, we were quite comfortable regardless!

Excellent breakfast, and the staff were very welcoming! Honestly not much to add here, we enjoyed it very much. The garden centre across the road also had a nice cafe as a coffee stop!

We have stayed before and this was remembered. The owner and staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is no pressure to be rushed out of the property. Genuinely lovely place

Cooked Breakfast not available due to sickness. This couldn't be helped. Curry not so nice.. My partner thought the portion on garlic cream mushrooms were a bit poor. Walls very thin and could hear next door coughing and talking. I expect they could hear us snoring.... Sorry

Fish pie was lovely.. Hotel well away from the road. Room reasonably clean. Able to open windows. Heating could be turned down. Room was very good value for money. Dining area decorated very well looking cosy. Good parking facilities.

the hotel was freezing. Very uncomfortable because we were so cold. The fire was lit but was not built up to kick out any heat.

The mattresses were very uncomfortable, they're too soft/ bouncy. One of the lamps was not working. The shower tap in room 15 needs fixing.

All in all, a fair price for what you get. Staff is very friendly.
