A find the price a bit expensive

The bed was comfortable, there is a shared living room to work or just relax and grab a coffee. The hotel is located in the center of London so easy to travel in the city.

View from our bedroom was the side of another building at close proximity so the room was quite dark.

Location was perfect, close enough to walk to major London attractions. The hotel itself is a stunning piece of architecture.

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room and bed, lovely ensuite bathroom and stunning communal areas (beautiful lobby). Excellent bar too with friendly and welcoming staff.

The hotel provides drinking water for guests in fillable, disposable plastic bottles. While this is very nice to have, I wish instead that they would provide a refillable bottle per guest to use, and not have so much plastic waste. Maybe have this with the hotel logo as an advertisement.

The room was comfortable. As Americans, we were surprised that washclothes were provided, as this is not typical in most places in Europe we've stayed. The bed could use a new mattress, it was a bit worn out. Otherwise, we were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a lot within walking distance, and 2 different underground stops are within a few minutes walk. The bus stops are right by the hotel, as well. The hotel had a lovely business center and lounge area with serve-your-own coffees, hot chocolates, and teas, which was very nice to have.

The bathroom wasn’t completely clean, with smudges on the walls and picture frame. I found the advance information by email unhelpful, it was all about up-selling early check ins and room upgrades. I was unable to find basic information such as reminders of what sort of room I had booked if I had booked for breakfast and what time check out was.

The location was amazing especially as I was going to the theatre and had a child with me, it was great to be able to do so much of our activities on foot. Staff were friendly and gave helpful information, as a bonus we were able to check in early for free rather than just leave our bags. Use of the lounge was offered after our check out which was really helpful.
