The only downside to our stay was that the mattress was incredibly hard - this is a personal preference so may be fine for others.

The location is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and friendly! The house catered for all our needs and was clean and spacious!

The bed was a little hard but the bedding was fresh and clean. Nice colour scheme. The whole accommodation was just what we were looking for. Clean and fresh and shower was great. We would like to go back there. Would recommend. Perfect.

Owners accommodation directly above was not great for us. Wouldn’t normally be an issue (and there wasn’t much noise) but we had the dog with us who was confused hearing footsteps and sounds from upstairs and kept barking! Only a small niggle though. Would definitely stay again, we’d just choose one of the cottages opposite

Location was lovely and rural surrounded by farmland and sheep but still very close by to the nearest town. The accommodation was perfect with everything we could’ve needed.

I dropped in for a single night stay but this place would be great for a proper break, the setup has everything you need .. managed to play tennis and walk by the lake in the evening. The setting is beautiful.

Difficulty in reaching due to narrow lanes with many pot holes and few passing places.

Rural location with views and walks. Good size of accommodation given that we were there for four weeks.

Our 2nd stay here, and yet another outstanding stay... The cottages are absolutely beautiful and finished to the highest standard with such lovely personal touches, absolutely spotless, well equipped and stunning surroundings Zoe and Phil are exceptional hosts, so friendly warm and welcoming and the love time and effort they put into the places shines and really shows, nothing is too much for them Can't highly recommend the place enough

Because of the rural location of the property it can only be reached on a single lane farm track. This could prove tricky with certain vehicles. Just something to consider prior to booking.

Lovely place in beautiful, rural location. Everything you need for a comfortable, restful break away. The hosts are very friendly and are on hand to help if required without being intrusive. Ideal if you just want to relax and unwind. Oswestry is a fantastic base to explore Shropshire and North Wales. A beautiful part of the world with so much to see and do.

Zoe was very communicative and accommodating. The place spotlessly clean. Came with a 1.5 year old, and she enjoyed the sheep, cows and horses And the trampoline! It's a rural and relaxing getaway, had a lovely stay!
