I didn't like that we never tried the starters, definitely on our list for the next visit!

We visited for the Moto GP weekend at the beginning of July, and we absolutely cannot fault our stay. Beds were comfy, a fan was provided in our room as it was an extremely hot weekend and it was clean and airy, lovely furnishings and couldn't ask for more. The room had a coffee maker and staff left a small flask of milk outside our door for use each morning. They really were very attentive to our needs and couldn't have been more helpful. The location was perfect, the rooms were super clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful, the food was just exquisite and surpassed all our expectations. We booked to eat all 3 nights of our stay and the food was just, wow! Looked stunning on the plate and tasted out of this world. Would highly recommend their pork dish, it was just melt in the mouth! We tried as many different dishes between the 2 of us, as they all sounded and looked simply delicious, and not one disappointed. Their sticky toffee pudding is to die for, as was the rest of their desert menu! We didn't try any starters as sadly our bellies just wouldn't have coped!! The bar and restaurant is quite spacious, with a lovely garden overlooking fields, and a fair sized car park. We will definitely be back, being just an easy 25 minute walk to Silverstone through the local golf course, this is just perfect for track enthusiasts! Everything we needed for the weekend under just one roof. Lovely bar, amazing food, friendly staff, comfy bed, what more coukd you ask for?

No tv in the room. Not a major disappointment but some people might prefer a tv. No premium lager on draught like Peroni or Moretti.

Loved the location, the food was delicious and a special shout out to the Assistant Manager, as he was so lovely and made us feel so welcome.

I wasn't really sure how to use the coffee machine and it would have been good to have had a mini fridge to keep the milk in.

The breakfast hamper was a nice touch. Made a change to be able to have breakfast in bed! The room was clean and shower was great.

Everything! Tom in the bar welcomed us warmly. Good GnT too. This is a wonderful pub with immaculate, cosy rooms. Huge comfy bed and coffee machine were 5 star .

Bed very soft so uncomfortable for our liking. Shower tray slippy. No TV although this doesn’t imply we needed one for the short stay we had.

Would be great if they could do a proper breakfast, but it's a new venture for them and perfectly understandable. Not really a problem if you're going to the circuit as there are plenty of options there.

Superb location for Silverstone circuit - just a few minutes away from the main gate. Rooms are over a well-known local pub which serves really good food, highly recommended. Room was spotless, decently-sized and nicely presented.

I cannot fault this property.

This was my second time staying here. I had a beautiful spacious double room and equally spacious bathroom. The heated towel rail and fluffy towels were a bonus on a cold morning. Again, the breakfast hamper of fresh fruit, croissants and preserves was just lovely and the coffee maker a real treat. Unfortunately the pub is closed Monday and Tuesday so I couldn’t have dinner. However, this is a wonderful place for a mid week or weekend getaway.

personally, I can’t fault the property.

the room was brand new, I might have been the first person in it! Karen made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed the breakfast hamper of fresh fruit and croissants. The room had a fabulous coffee maker. The beds and linen are high standard. The staff were so pleasant and looked after me. I had dinner a couple of times, great food and good variety. While I had an extended stay for family connections, this little pub is a super weekend getaway.

remote area, no shops whatsoever or newsagents just cows! but very nice pleasant town and easy access to Whittlebury hall 10-15 min walk or 5 mins drive. Very remote

cute little hotel with a nice pub downstairs. Great customer service from the nice lady, very accommodating. The room was gorgeous, comfortable beds nice shower (not very strong water) very clean, loved the coffee facilities in room. Only thing is no TV in room would have added a nicer touch

Light outside bedroom window going on and off all night. Coffee machine with milk pods but no separate milk in sachets supplied for extra milk or for tea. Very small room. Pillows hard and uncomfortable. No shower gel supplied.

Location is convenient for Towcester. Large car park.

There was no TV in the room,There is also a need for a small table and 2 chairs if your only supplying a food basket as there was no where to sit comfortably to sit and eat apart from sitting on the bed.

The location for Silverstone circuit was perfect, the room was spotless clean.
