Nothing that is the facilities fault. Noisy neighborhood. Small rooms. Lots of stairs, which was fine for us but could be an issue for some people.

Decent place to crash for one night. Very clean, pleasant staff and reasonably updated. Good value for what we needed (no frills, short term). Wifi worked great. Shower was decent.

The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, but I slept just fine anyway.

Really convenient location for city centre and coach station. Immaculate cleanliness, great shower, nice and quiet more separated from the pub itself than expected.

Cute rooms above a friendly traditional pub. We were only only there for one night to sleep, so facilities were perfect for us. There are plenty of tea supplies, which was perfect for us! Rooms were clean and fresh. And surprisingly not much noise from the street as we expected. We had a nice walk in Digbeth and saw some querky artwork and some lovely little Cafés. Ideal location for 02 Academy, just a few mins in a taxi. We would stay again.

My only complain was there was no iron or ironing board and the vertical blinds in the rooms window were broken.

We would like to leave our staff after the checkout until the midnight, but we couldn’t! Btw we found a luggage place next to Birmingham Coach station. So no problem!

The best Value-For-Money room that we found available. They also wait for us to check in at 23:00 and we really appreciate it!

It has a few building sites around about it with work starting from 7am, and you just can’t get away from the traffic noise from the street.

It’s a nice historic building with a great wee bar full of locals in old community that is being revamped. The barman who welcomed me was friendly and helpful as was the cleaner when I was looking to checkout.

The only thing I would change is putting in a mirror in the bedroom. Also where the tea and coffee is putting it on a set of draws as not much room to put things. Would definitely recommend it.

The room is very small, and it could feel uncomfortable to spend time in the room itself, but we needed it just to sleep after a concert so it wasn't an issue.

Nice and cozy room, perfect for just sleeping in and freshening up in. No noise from the road or the pub underneath, bed was comfortable. 5-10 minute walk to the bull ring, with a store right next to the building.

To access the apartment you have to walk through the beer garden area but that’s expected when you’re above the pub!

Be aware that there is another pub/hotel with a similar name nearby (which apparently is a common confusion). This one was well located for where we were attending but it is closer to an industrial area and a good walk from the train station.

Room is spacious and can easily accommodate 1-3 guests comfortably. Very well received and seen off by the staff. Very clean and modern rooms above a traditional local Pub, it has a separate entrance as well so access is not impacted. Excellent value for the service/amenities.

Wish there was some more privacy in the bathroom maybe (a blind needed?) , but thats just me ! Maybe a lamp in the bedroom?

You can hear the noise a fair bit from the stairs and doors between 12-2am ish from other guests arriving in from town. Wasn't a negative for me though as I actually expected the noise to be worse being in a party location, but something to be aware of. If you're already asleep you probably wouldn't notice anyway :)

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was modern and comfortable and it was great value for money for the location. Everything was explained well by the host, refreshment tray was well stocked and the room was super cosy. Very bright and airy!
