The room was very dated . The shower was over the bath with a handset with the tiniest head so dribbled out . Mattress & bed needs replacing as extremely uncomfortable .& worn. out.

The bed was very uncomfortable and we had a very restless night. The mattress was old and held little support. Both my husband and I were very tired the next day :(

The pub was lovely, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hate to say it,but in places, it's a little tired. Having said that, it's a country pub, so we could live with that! :)

Location is brilliant, looking over the village green. The staff are lovely, so helpful and friendly. The beer garden was so peaceful and quiet; which,after a long drive, was heaven sent.The food was excellent, especially the breakfast!! A proper country pub which is at the centre of the community. Everyone said " hello", we loved it.

Rooms could do with a bit of money spent on them.

Really helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Great location in traditional pub on the green. Lovely to have big bathroom and bath.

There could be more power sockets, but in an old property I do understand how difficult it would be to add any.

A spacious room and bathroom with oodles of olde world charm. The staff were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the bed very comfortable.

Staff could not have been more helpful. The room was wonderful - so full of character. A minor issue was the lack of a power point close to the kettle but this did not spoil our stay.

Our bed was not particularly comfortable but fine for one night. The water pressure is very low and we struggled to get washed as a consequence.

The location is great - opposite a cricket green and in a semi-rural setting. The food is also very good for pub grub.

Had a great stay at The Flying Horse; a traditional British village pub with rooms overlooking the cricket green. Everyone I met whom worked here was friendly & helpful and the room was perfect for a comfortable & restorative stay while walking along the North Downs Way. I stayed on on a Friday night so it was lively & buzzy in the bar and there was a good & extensive menu of home-cooked pub-grub. Will not hesitate to stay here again if I am in the parts - thankyou!

The air conditioning is very noisy at night.

The location is great, just 25 min to Eurotunnel. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Thanks for the breakfast tray! Dinner was excellent and a lovely atmosphere in the bar/restaurant.

Mattress was a bit saggy, windows were dirty, and the bathroom was quite primitive (no shower - just a bath with terrible water pressure).

Location. Nice pub downstairs with good food and service. People were very friendly.

This is not the place to come if you want somewhere quiet to relax in the countryside. The pub needs to invest in much better sound insulation. The walls and floors are thin, and the windows are old and ill-fitting. Maybe other rooms are better, but tvs and normal conversation levels could be heard clearly until 11.30. Disappointed.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, and great food. Excellent vegetarian menu and delicious breakfast.
